Mother is good as it is. Only Itoi could come up with ideas that scream Earthbound. And if he doesn’t want to do it again, people just need to leave the series as it is. Meanwhile there are plenty of indies and fan games to fill the gap!

Honestly a Earthbound and Chrono Trigger crossover wouldn't fundamentally work at all. There is just too many differences between them to make it not forced!

Sucks Itoi rejected the pitch, but yeah not much could be done there since when it comes to Earthbound "if Itoi says no then that means no," even if Iwata was the one who was trying to help get the project off the ground.

Character models, water, and light effects still look decent, but it's got some REALLY muddy textures that were sub-par even by the standards of the time of its release.

I'm not sure if it's a common thought, but I can't help but suggest that these videos are in desperate need of pauses... You go from one topic to another so quickly that it's easy to lose concentration. Give viewers a chance to think of what facts they were just told by pausing in between topics. It's important to give periods their proper timing.

I spent the entire clip going "wait, that game did come out, I KNOW THIS", and went on a quick hunt for the name. I realize and sympathize that there's going to be very little footage -- if any -- of cancelled games. But you really need to make it EXPLICIT when you're showing a video clip not related to what's being discussed. That was incredibly confusing. :P
