Honey bunches of oats is my JAM. ♥ all their flavors smack 😋 I love frosted mini wheats too, strawberry and blueberry are the way to go. Those waffle crisps were my go to for awhile, but you can't really eat a lot compared to others; the Maple gets overwhelming

When I was younger, all we had was food stamps and all we could really get was mini wheats and cheerios, and I hated the taste of the cheerios because it has a very bland taste, so I would add 2 spoons of sugar to it, and it was the best thing ever. Every time I recreate that childhood meal it brings back so much nostalgia when it was just me, my brother, and my mom and we'd eat cheerios for dinner

i also grew up in a skim milk, diet soda household. once i moved out at 18 i started using 2% milk and it was a complete life changer. i had skim milk at my moms house when i was visiting her one time and i almost threw up, it tasted like water with a drop of milk, it was so gross. idk how i lived for 18 years on skim milk 🤢

Most adults don't eat it for breakfast. Maybe as a rare treat. Parents get it for their kids because they can serve themselves and it's cheap. These days people are understanding it's not a good idea. But again, busy, struggling parents and convenience is hard to break the habit.
