I started to realize this because I don’t want to buy Nestle products. I pulled up a list of their subsidiaries in the grocery store parking lot and it was insanely long. Once I was paying attention, I realized there were Nestle products in every single aisle, mostly under different company names to disguise it. Some aisles were basically half full of them and the rest of the products were from some other huge company but labeled under various brands. The most insidious were the labels that were clearly designed to seem like a small, family business to trick the consumer but were actually from some food giant. I don’t really understand why food companies can get away with this under monopoly laws. I feel like it’s lying to the consumer in a way and I wish they had to more clearly label their parent company. Sometimes you can find it in the fine print on the back but they usually try to hide it. I want it clearly labeled on the front, like “Blank Foods, a subsidiary of Nestle”, so they can’t try to hide.

We use cheese wiz for green bean casserole during Christmas it does exist Edit: movie theater popcorn is more expensive than 3 boxes from the grocery store.. so I don't buy it
