Back in 1998 or 1999, I was putting a B16A on a 90 CRX and I was using Hasport's First gen welded EF B series mounts. It was quite a struggle, but the engine went in. The engine looked crooked, it wasn't in line as it should be. I kept thinking I had done something wrong or the car or the engine was bad. I had a few friends come by and help me trouble shoot and the only thing that was making the engine sit crooked was one of the Hasport mounts. I thought I was screwed, that Hasport would never believe me. So I contacted them anyways and I actually spoke with Brian. He sent me another mount right away and I sent the bad mount back. It fixed the problem and the engine lined up perfectly. Problems occur, and everybody has fun when things go right. You know you deal with a good company when they correct the mistakes and fix a bad situation right away w/o delay. Thank you Brian for all these years of being a man who stands by and backs up his products.

Don't know if you will see this message and you have probably have the answer but there is several kit for ej/ek k swap, or you have to use eg/dc2/del sol subframe to install them

Love this video. I’m running k20 awd my thoughts behind that is the transmission will prolly last longer without the extra torque. But definitely prefer the extra ground clearance

Anticipating your 8th gen Civic J series swap. Currently have 2012 Accord V6 calipers and rotors bolted on Purchased a CRZ 6 sp swapped bell housings and purchased the 6 sp gear selector from Europe. The CRZ and Civic housings and input shaft have the same pat numbers. Axles ??? Hopefully fit. 8th gen Si shifter. Its not in the car yet but soonish maybe. I need to wire a switch for the reverse lockout. Thanks for all you do!

So interesting im working on a b swap the parts are so expensive and hard to find I think this swap would be ideal and more cost effective at this point I'm interested in the tsx engine and any lsd transmission wish me luck also would like to know more about these awd set ups great job I will continue watching such an inspirational channel dream big guys

So is there an issue with running the k24 engine and trans in the high position in the eg? I’ve been running mine like that since it was swapped into the car. Of course I cut the awning in the hood for it to clear

Is it still necessary to run a smaller P/S pulley/k20 pump for a jdm k24a with the lower settings in the egk2 kit? I can't seem to google good enough to find out

On that k24z2 how you make your idler further from the mount

I have the hasport lean kit and the rear mount and drivers side mounts don't line up. To be specific I am using a k24z3(i know this is a problem) but the timing cover mount isn't the problem. The drivers side mount is pushed about an inch towards the outside so the factory mounting hole won't work. The rear mount is close but is also about an inch short to reach the transmission (i am using 02 Civic Si transmission) so if the dog bone was a little longer it would be fine. I was wondering if there was a way to just get a longer rear dog bone since that seems to be the most difficult mount to try and remake myself. The drivers side mount hole seems as though it would be easy to just drill a new hole for the mount. The timing chain mount looks like I could just elongate the hole slightly so that there are 3 bolts holding the mount to the engine. Any suggestions or help would be very appreciated.

thank you for this. I'm in the research phase of planning a k24 swap with AWD conversion on my eg and I think i just found my mounting kit ;) . Any words of advice for my planning? I am trying to build a daily with around 240-260 hp I live in a mountain town and love to hit these windy roads from time to time so thats why I was figuring a K24 for the torque needed to get up the hills quick and awd to stick to the road. would you suggest a turbo to bridge the power gap until the v-tec kicks in. what is the best diff (i heard wagon)? should I "Frankenstein" with a k20 head? what years are the best for my block/head? any suggestions on suspension? What would you do in my situation? Thanks for your time and all the great content you put out, it is very helpful!

Does this work on EG's that came factory with an automatic transmission? Because the driver side engine mount ears are skinnier on autos and for b swaps you need an auto to manual mount in order for them to slide in place but I seen no option for different engine mounts for this kit?

Yes it does. Those ears get cut off on both manual and automatic chassis.

@@brashgarage you're correct the passenger side gets cut off. But, the diver-side mount is the same width auto or manual. It may look different, but it is the same.

@@VTECAcademy Oh okay strange I bought innovate b series mounts for my EG and it was to fat to fit in the driver side ears and innovate said it’s because i need an auto to manual mount as they’re skinner but i never re ordered the auto to manual just returned the regular ones. Im about to k swap and am just making sure it will fit before I drop the money!

What do you recommend for an EG with a K20a2 swap trying to run power steering with a dc5 pump? When I put it on the higher setting, it hits the hood.

With PS you have to use the lower setting.
