Though only on the most extreme cases (T3 Jin , Gon or TTT1 P Jack for example) and most of them are at least 2-3 years old and not so extensively detailed and explained as Mwkan/Nemesis does in his videos which cover so many more characters and details!

Did you know he can get backlash after counter hit d4,4 launch? d4,4,Backlash,cancel, RFL 2, ff 3. Same combo also possible after RFF Plasma Blade. He also has a guard crush into free wall combo (df2 is guaranteed after opponent blocks RFF ff4,3 at the wall)

3:00 is one of the best just frame skyrocket combos. Sadly, i think it only works on the bigger characters. and if anyone asks, T5 DR Hwoarang is a mid tier at best in T5DR. Hwoarang in this version of the game was largely considered a Turtle character, often relying on whiff punishes and your opponent over extending their strings for Hwoarang to get any reliable damage. Hwoarang in T5DR lacked good/strong pokes. His throw game is good, but other's were simply better. Hwoarang is also a crappy stance character in the sense that his flamingo in this game was largely useless. His flamingo pressure was largely negated by the opponent sidestepping or straight up backdash cancel and most of his pokes from flamingo stance were not plus on block. A stance character with none of the positives that were usually given to stance characters made for a very mediocre character. At least his damage was good? If you could land it...

Hwoarang Punishment - 3/5 -10 he gets 1,2. -12 he gets b+4 for a nice chunk. -15 d/f+2 and -17 b+3 . Average stuff. ws moves he gets ws+4,4 at -11 blocked lows, -15 and ducked throws is ws+3 and for sweeps he gets juicy hop kick. Again pretty average stuff. Offense - 3/5 Hwoarang doens't have any *scary* lows, but they are annoying and more abusable than most low pokes in the game. d/b+3 being -13 with a +3 is a nice way to get in with frames and little consequence. ss+4 is a great low getting +9 on hit and setting up some nasty RFF mix ups afterwards, its also not launch punishable and on CH does close to half life. d/b+4,4 with the 2nd hit now nonduckable if the first hits should also be noted. On top of that his throws are very good. Neck break throw does good damage, qcb+3 does great damage with wake ups and d,d/b+1+2 double break also does decent damag ewith good wake up. Hwoarang's mids are also decent out of cd with ff+3, ws+4,4 and ws+3. He can also run up and do u+3+4 with jump glitch as a hard to see mid with decent juggle. His mids out of RFF are great as well with 2, f+4~4 and d/f+4. Playing a good throw breaker however he only has annoying lows to do damage, but at least they are not very punishable. Whiff Punishing - 3/5 b+3 and d/f+2. B+3 has good range, good damage and is decently fast, however if you misjudge he is screwed hard. Lacks a farther whiff punisher besides b+3. Keep Out/Panic Moves - 2/5 b+2 is ok, d/f+2, d/f+3,4 and d/f+3,3 is ok but either risky on whiff or not too damaging. Ok high crush with d/b+3 and risky high crush with d+4,4, Bon just doesn't have a whole lot of scary stuff to get hit by that is safe unfortunetly. Wake-ups - 2/3 Depending on what juggle he does, he's got some interesting wakes. Juggles that spike into RFF warrants a free 3 and if they move he gets a whole new juggle. If they continue to lay there and take the 3 then he can start doing ff+3. Not bad. His throws have decent wakes as well, but nothing inredibly scary. Damage - 3/3 His d/f+2 does normal damage, but the launcher he prolly hits with the most is b+3 and that does half life without a CH. And with CH's he can get over half life which is nasty If your lucky enough to get a jf sky rocket he can get well over half. His command throws with wakes do good chunks of life as well. Overall Rating: 16/26 -T5DR character ranking list by Slips

I will never understand why character with absurd fast pressure, infinite + frames, a lot of ch launchers, potent punishment, safe generic df2, safe homing mids, almost no wiff recovery, complete throw game, long wall carry, above average combo damage - is ok! I want to see pro's opinion about whoreang, if he wasn't legacy character and was released as a DLC in his current t7 state

Hwo is great in t7, the problem with this game is precisely that every character is buffed to the max so he isn't really an exception among the cast. His main problems in t7 sending him outside of top tiers are tracking weaknesses (even considering his homing moves) and relative weak neutral
