4:42 Noelle is definitely going to be a main character in Ch. 2, because of maybe the loss of her dad (he is in the hospital as of the end of Ch. 1) and/or Kris growing apart from her, because the way she reacts when you ask to be partners suggests that she has been friends with Kris for a while, but at the end when you ask her a bunch of questions, she asks if you are feeling alright. She doesn't understand the new way Kris is acting, how they examine everything like they've never seen it before. And seeing that sprite of her sadness makes it even more likely. That may be her Dark World sprite, or just her unhappiness. And the melancholy of the music suggests that she is sad. I think she will be a big character, maybe trying to _stop_ Kris from going back to the Dark World and bonding with Susie so they can be friends with her again. Edit: The fact that the song itself, according to Toby, "gets used repeatedly" probably just means for, like, the sad parts, maybe at one point Susie talks with Kris about her.

If you're from the Iceberg video, read on.. (For those of you who don't know, I posted a comment on the Deltarune Iceberg video) The Angel of Death being Noelle's remorse for losing her loved ones could play an important role in Ch. 2 and further, how you might convince Noelle that Kris is still her friend*, or that she can still be happy. *Since you control Kris, you aren't really Kris themselves, but you control the SOUL that resides inside them (at the end of Chapter One, when Kris throws you into the cage in their room, you can still move the SOUL), and you control their actions, their insane desire to find out everything about everything, even though the day you start controlling them is far from irregular. There is a _new_ Kris, and they are not the same. Honestly, I don't see how this theory would link into the Knight and the Dark World in general, but it is certainly food for thought. (An hour of thought and research, for me)

Here is a theory: Ralsei's design is simlar that of the black mage, yet he is the healer. Noelle's dark world design (or at least I hope it's the dark world design) looks like a white mage. Maybe Noelle will have attacking magic, because maybe in the dark world dark magic heals and light magic hurts. (Or maybe just for a joke.)

This seems like a much more ambitious and passionate project than Undertale (Deltarune was a cancelled project which much of it turned into Undertale). Since Undertale's demo was released in 2013 and the game came out in 2015 I think it's understandable and reasonable that it's been 3 years since chapter 1. Again, since this is a more ambitious project I think it's fair and more realitistic to think next year or 2 years from now would be the case, altho people here saying "around 2025" is a little off putting xd
