Thank you for the video excerpts of Drew Lock's passing plays. To be concise, I deem his performance favorably, notwithstanding the two turnovers. Costly, but correctable errors. Otherwise, he performed effectively while under constant duress. - He engaged Nabers, Theo, Tracy, Hyatt & Slayton in the passing game. - He scrambled effectively, scoring once & almost twice, & obtained a key first down. - Only Drew Lock can make the late-game throw to Nabers near the goal line. - He did not cower or quit. He dusted off his mistakes and hopped right back on his saddle. Receivers and running backs followed his lead. - With practice reps, he and Slayton can get on the same page re back shoulder passes & such. Ditto timing slant passes & the like with Nabers. - As for the Cringe-worthy turnovers, I'll give Drew Lock the same hall pass given to Tyrone Tracy. The talent is there for both players. They are now free to roam about the offense. - Favorite plays... Pass to Nabers near the end zone. Pass to Nabers over the middle immediately after he threw the Pic Six. Passes to Tracy and Theo with guys hanging on him to extend drives. (Everyone was hungry) Open field running Lots to like. With reps, I think he'll be effective down the stretch. Happy Thanksgiving.

I loved the Lock signing and very annoyed he is just getting a chance to play. In my humble opinion if u give Lock time in the pocket he can pick u apart.

Great breakdown. Very similar to how I viewed his game. They should allow him to get full preparation with the 1st team offense and let him play the rest of the season out.

@@AwthentikandTheBeard Absolutely never a fan of tanking. Drew can be this Giants version of Kerry Collins. Rather pick a developmental QB in next year's draft preferably Allar from Penn State, rebuild the defensive interior and add pieces to the Oline in the upcoming draft. If the Giants make a coaching change they have to bring in a quality experienced head coach. All it takes is hiring the right people to turn the franchise around.

The giants should look better with C. Ward next year.

Bronco fan here. Giants you need to keep lock and spend your First 2 draft picks on the line. Drew can make every throw but you gotta get him some help. The arm strength rivals Stafford and Allen’s plus he been in multiple offensive schemes
@AwthentikandTheBeardАй бұрын
Drew lock has arm talent but I wouldn’t go as far as Matthew Stafford like. I would like to use these last five games to really allow him to prep and get reps with the first string offense so we can really get a good gauge of where he is at in this stage of his career.
@joeys6627Ай бұрын
Solid game by Lock. They should re-sign him and make him a backup or bridge QB. You can see the arm strength is there. He was slightly inaccurate and throwing behind receivers on slants but overall I am impressed. That's probably the best QB performance I've seen this year by the Giants considering how bad the offensive line is right now.
@Mato-x6g5 күн бұрын
People forget how good drew lock played last year for the seahawks only thing the giants need to do is improve the o line and draft a jaxson dart or kyle mmcord with the third pick if we cant get ward or sanders in the first round and let lock be the bridege qb that teach them the ropes💯

I have always liked Lock. Resign him and start him next year. Trade down and draft an OT. Neal either plays guard next year or cut him. Please pick a stout DT to play NT. I would love to pick a young developmental QB in the second round either Allar or Monroe. Lastly I'm keeping the GM and firing Daboll.

We did see the potential off almost all our players with lock. Heck Tracy caught a pass then made a move ❤. Tight end looks active.

Maybe they're not big enough to run 2 WRs 2 TE single back they got blown up the middle and CB blitz they look like they were going for a screen play there's 3 offensive linemen running left when lock lobbs that interception in the back field

If jones makes the same play to Overshoen there is a tidal wave of how bad he sucks. Lock does and it’s nothing. And Lock had a few lucky scrambles. How would that turn out after two more games of getting his head beat in and multiple interception games. Thanks for the cut up’s.
@AwthentikandTheBeardАй бұрын
One has been a starter for 6 seasons the other has been the starter for one game. Thats understandable no?

@ not really. Lock is no rookie and he’s started a bunch of games. It’s more of a reflection on the hatred for Jones than the play itself. But I get ya.

@njlooksee Drew Lock has 26 total starts to his name. Daniel Jones has 70. When Jones was making his 26th start, I was totally ok with the mistakes. At 70 is a lot more experience in my opinion
