So the orbs in tanya the evil you got slightly wrong. Tanya has the type 95 which is classified as a holy reliquary and has got tier power, the type 97 was a mass production model of the type 95. Essentially it’s better than typical orbs but the 95 is much stronger. Tanya uses the type 97 most of the time and has the 95 as a backup and hates it.

Also, Type 95, like OP said, is God tier, but it is realistically not perfected to be safely used. However, Being X made a little compromise or deal with Tanya, he will make it function if Tanya says a prayer which, considering Tanya a devote atheist, hates doing it. To add, using the Type 95 has some draw backs when it is used. I cant quite remember them but I think frequent use makes her zone out and forget what happened during battles.

@@CaseNumber00 that's how the situation was portrayed in the anime, but in the novel the situation goes something like this "godly beings were worried about the lack of faith of the people in the world, one clerk noticed that a certain human (schugel) was very close to reaching miracle level and given some extra 100 years humanity will get to that level, so they decided to just give it to him as a revelation but include a small caveat in the operation of the orb that forces the user to praise the lord with all their being when using it. tanya hates using the orb not because it forces her to pray when she uses it, but actually because her mind and belief system is actually overwritten by a zealous fanatic when she does and she is not 100% aware of the effects it has on her psyche. it goes to the point that once she found herself carrying a rosary that she had no memory of ever getting which shows how unbelievable the brainwashing the orb does is"

@@CaseNumber00 Well in the anime the drawback is mostly not explained, so far there was only that problem that she could not remember anything about the month training her battalion, for one reason or another. In the light novel Type 95 does several things, it is only when activated that it forces Tanya to start spouting praises to God and even sing hymns, Tanya compares the Type 95 to a drug, a drug you can't stop using because if you did you will die (because if she doesn't use it in the battlefield she will probably get eventually killed by the enemy), Tanya says how it deprives her of free will even going so far to actually say that her thoughts are being controlled, her memory gets muddled when used so she doesn't have a proper recollection of what she did, it also forcefully transforms all pain into pleasure "religious ecstasy" as she said. The training month was the last straw, since she cannot recall anything and she finds a rosary hanging around from her neck, but no memory of where did she get it and why was she wearing it. Sadly, there are also more permanent effects, Tanya wanted to wish her troops good luck, but instead she wished them God's protection and there was another time when Tanya said: "We are warrior's of God..." Even though she was not using the Type 95 at the time, she gets a little upset at this of course because she is quite aware what she just said.

According to Tanya Wiki, they say Tanya is the only one can use type 95 which has 4 cores safely by praying to Being X, type 97 which has 2 cores is a mass-produce version of type 95. Type 97 is more stable, hence, doesn't need praying to God but inferior output. In conclusion, Tanya still needs to pray to God to be OP.

There's a really important reference from Re:Zero that is hidden in plain sight as well. There is a scene in wich Roswaal is seen in the background reading a book with a completely black cover. This scene is the one in wich Ainz stops time to try to cheat the exam. That is a really big reference for Re:Zero Season 2! Basically the book he is reading is a future-telling Gospel, like the ones from the Witch Cult. Implying he is able to catch all of their attempts at causing trouble / cheating because he already knows the future and is prepared ahead. BTW I loved your video, please keep the amazing work!

8:05 Kazuma is smart and lazy. He will obviously take the easiest routes to ensure his safety or be able to get something he wants. Kazuma would probably think similarly like Subaru at the beginning. Then he would understand he has no special abilities beside Return By Death. He probably wouldn't help Emilia due to his laziness and him wanting to stay alive because dying hurts. This causes all of the events Subaru took part in to not happen to Kazuma. He would then start by I guess working somewhere that doesn't require him to read, then he would slowly learn things about that world and then get a new job with his newfound knowledge. I'm just assuming that he wont be as reckless with his life as Subaru, so he probably will live to old age. But let's say he didn't complete the required events to get a checkpoint. He'd probably pick up on the fact he needs to help Emilia. Now that begins everything. But then again, Kazuma is smart and has high luck. He could make it through luck or he could use underhanded tactics. Once he builds an attachment to them, he would probably stick by them not to see them die. He also probably wouldn't have the same obsession over Emilia like Subaru. But that's just my theory. There's a whole lot of factors that play into this.

Subaru has heart while Kazuma has brains. Subaru sometimes due to his overwhelming passion for both Rem and Emilia. Kazuma wouldn’t do the same, as he would immediately try and manipulate things in his favor. He has more common sense than Subaru and wouldn’t be so much of senseless dumbass on how he screws himself over. Hell, Kazuma would think that Reset by Death would be a great thing.

Im pretty sure the savepoint mechanic would still work I think. I think the save point mechanic would pretty much revolve to how close 'He' is to freeing Satella, atleast thats what im getting at. Or it could even be a mechanic which follows the true desire of the beholder without 'Him' knowing how it works. Its like an autosave to game, which pretty much tells you that you are progressing somehow. So if Kazuma somehow died and realize he can return, im pretty sure he'd just wander off making trades more like Otto. So I would say Kazuma would take the Otto route. I wouldnt see him being a knight but more of a merchant/adventurer, heck he might even be an assassin or scammer depending on how tough the world will be to him.

I remember reading somewhere that because Aqua is a goddess of water all of her spells gain the Water descriptor. She then proceeds to fight only monsters with Water damage immunity for most of the runtime of the show. So her spells are all literally god tier but seem completely ineffective. So I completely get how hitting a regular undead lich would do insane damage.

Dude did you just call Ainz "regular undead lich"? He isn't even an undead lich. He's the highest form of undead, like aqua is of holy, an overlord. An overlord is several thousand times stronger(literally) than an elder lich. It wasn't that Ainz was weak, the guy is so strong that if power scaling is done correct, out of all characters shown in the anime of re zero and youjo senki, only the jealous witch, Puck, reinhard, Roswaal(maybe) and Tanya(maybe) are capable of inflicting damage on him. Other characters full power attack are just like a fly sitting on him, irritating? Maybe. Pain? Damage? No. It really only shows how OP aqua is to actually inflict damage on ains, irrespective of the type advantage.

He's a big bad undead, yeah, but he dosent have a natural blanket immunity to water damage that, say, the level 5 frogs in Konosuba have. My point is that shes way overpowered in almost every circumstance...except almost everything her own adventure has put in front of her. How does Turn Undead actually work though? If it's based off tabletop, it likely doesn't even do damage. It either outright kills, fears, or fails. Overlord rule system is totally based off an MMO, tabletop inspired as it may be. But isn't Konasuba mainly tabletop? Also, a goddess Aqua may be, but isn't she just one out of many? People often associate a title like god with monotheistic religions like the Abrahamic ones, but arguably Ainz is just as godly. Heck, if the series keeps going he may end up with more believers than Aqua.

Oh yeah one thing that I found interesting about demiurge from the LN. His Incantation of Influence or subjugation spell as I like to call it. Is an AoE skill. It targets everyone within the sound of his voice. And it only works on those that are level forty and below. Main reason it doesn't work on anybody in nazarick is bc they're all above the level threshold. Kazuma was effected bc he's more then likely under level forty. And Tanya wasn't effected bc her rank more than likely translates into a level above forty. That and she's holding essentially a god tier item

Isekai Quartet as far as I'm concerned is just meme fodder. I'll never sit down and watch it. These nendodroid SD style shows. It doesn't help either - and flame shields up - that I find Re:Zero and Overlord abhorrent. Just not a fan of Overlord's pretentiousness. Ainz walking around as some grand ubermench lich. There's so much talking and no action that I couldn't get through episode 1. Same with S2 Episode 1. Apparently there's crazy OP action but I just don't care. And Re:Zero. I cannot stand Subaru. He drags the entire show down for me which is why after Episode 6 or 7 I just gave up

Like, even minor things like Roswaal teaching about dust explosions in the background is a little nod to something insignificant that happens later in re:zero. Yeah. The type 95 was the most ambitious computation orb, and only works because of the blessing from being X. The type 97 was made afterwards, and while less powerful than the type 95, it is more stable and they can actually create more of them. Its said that it would take 100 years or something for humans to be able to mass produce a genuine type 95

In Isekai Quartet 2, here are sooooo many nods to arc 4 of Re:ZERO, which is to make up the bulk of if not the entire season 2. Examples include (oh, MAJOR spoilers below by the way, like seriously): First, we have Beatrice talking about her "mom" or the witch of greed Echidona who created her and Puck, both artificial spirits, and also the one who contracted her to watch over the forbidden library until "that person" arrives. Next is Roswaal reading the "perfect" gospel. Basically gospels are guidebooks into the desired future. Witch cult gospels are imperfect, or they're somewhat more vague and their text fills out as the writ is realized. Roswaal's gospel is more detailed and already complete and he treats the writ as an infallible word of God. Interestingly, in episode 10, there's a nod to the Great Rabbit, one of the 3 mabeasts considered calamities in Lugnica. It's a herd of voraciously carnivorous, seemingly mitotic rabbits that number similarly to drops of rain in a rainstorm. They gore any living creature that gets too close, monty python style, and they eat you down to the last drop of blood. They cause what can be considered one of the worst deaths Subaru has ever experienced. He was convulsing and foaming at the mouth when he returned. The experience was so violating, agonizing and overall traumatic it almost broke him.

Gonna be honest, among all the series, Overlord (for me) is the most enjoyable, second would be Re:Zero, Then 3rd would be The Saga Of Tanya The Evil, then lastly would be Konosuba. I like normal Fantasy tbh, but most Dark Fantasy (especially isekai dark fantasy) is quiet good. Ps: I didnt include The Rising of the shield Hero is because Isekai quartet didnt show lot of them, but if they did, it would be my no. 2 fav.
