As a collector of jewelry and other such things, I have always, always, always wanted to add the rings and talismans from the Dark Soul trilogy and Elden Ring respectively. Out of all these, I'd love to have Rellana's Cameo, the heirlooms, Moon of Nokstella, the lord icons, and the amber medallions the most: but I'd happily take all of them just for variety's sake. You never know when you're going to feel a particular aesthetic one day.

Godskin Swaddling Cloth is pretty clearly supposed to be the skin of a baby Demigod, you can see the eyes, nose, mouth and tiny hands at the bottom. Probably the most disturbing talisman in the game.

I have a copper version of the Taker's Cameo (as a pendant) and it's very beautiful (both sides are carved, so it doesn't matter if it flipd around). Bit heavy tho, so I usually only wear it with turtlenecks.

sadly your information on the graven mass talisman is incorrect. they aren't punishments. the graven schools are groups of mages merged together to try to form a star. the primeval sorcerers do it to try to make contact with the primeval current. other than that i loved the video.

Broadly I dislike the design of the talismans in Elden Ring in general. Of all the possibilities that existed in breaking away from mandatory ring designs for accessories, that most of them look like random trash stuffed in your character's pockets really brings them down. I can't envision my character using most of these. Some aren't too bad, being simple pendants, broaches or crests you could wear, or like, I dunno, magically glue to your armor. But like. What does your character even DO for the jar shard? Is that just hanging from their neck? I suppose, the in game answer is they're put in "pouches", meaning yes, random trash stuffed in pockets is actually how your character is handling this. Your character being covered in random pendants like Mr T just robbed a pawn shop, or with pockets full of garbage around their belt is just so unstylish, and uncool. I miss rings. Some rings were gauche, tacky, or stupid looking, but at least they made a statement, right?

@@RinzlerRules91 there are some good looking armors in lords of the fallen, but I didn't personally care for the implementation of the tint feature: made the tinted textures look blurry and washed out. Also, bloodborne is the clear winner for me - it has proportionally as many subpar looking garbs as elden ring has great looking ones.

@RinzlerRules91 My gripe with the armor is mostly that it seems suspiciously like they made a bunch of games worth of armor that spanned a wide variety of classical realistic designs, tasteful fantasy designs, and highly stylish character concept set pieces or mood accent pieces, and a spectrum between these extremes, occupying many different weight classes, that they suddenly threw out and then made a bunch of armor that tried very hard to not look like any of that previous armor, which mostly meant very strange looking armor, wearable abstract art, and peak clownsuit keystones that had to have an outfit built around. But maybe that guess is a little on-the-nose. And with trash stuffed in the pockets to really bring home the murderhobo clownsuit aesthetic, leaving the average Tarnished looking like someone you are desperately trying to avoid eye contact or conversation with on the trolley, or a cosplayer. I forgive people who are glued to the Radahn set.
