Miri is usually drawn only showing one eye, so in a way, she perfectly fits the description of elfo's "perfect girl" mentioned here from the first season. In fact, she and elfo kind of had a Leela and Fry dynamic by the end.

And to be fair - there are species IRL that we've thought were extinct only to find proof they are not ... maybe humans and decapodians didn't get all of the anchovies. Also maybe by the time of Disenchantment some fish species (distant cousin of anchovies) evolved enough to come close to anchovies.

The last one you mentioned, there being a Luna Park, is probably a similar case to the A Trip To The Moon thing: they're both just making the same reference. Luna Park used to be a very common name for amusement parks in the early 20th century, and there are still some parks called Luna Park operating today. It's definitely a fitting reference to use in Steamland (assuming it's the name of the carnival in Steamland, but Steamland is listed separately on the dial, so...)

But it's never been treated as important or even frequently used by bender. Saying it's a catchphrase is just stupid, idc if the creators come out and claim it is a catchphrase for him, that's still stupid and doesn't make sense. If it's a catchphrase then they need to make him say it WAY more often lol such a weird thing to have to explain it's so obvious

There is one line from Satan in the penultimate episode that could be seen as another subtle reference to Futurama, when he says "I've battled [...] thousands of years of unauthorized use of my image on [...] biker's butt tattoos." I instantly had to think of Amy's talking tattoo from the episode "300 Big Boys". I then realized that Satan looks almost identical to Amy's tattoo, but that could also be attributed to the similar art styles of the shows. Intentional reference or not, it's at least interesting to consider.

I do admire how both Futurama and Disenchantment have placed blink and you'll miss it things in various episodes that take place seasons before we visit them officially. The airship in episode one of Disenchantment and Leela's parents when they first visit the sewers in Futurama.

Futurama: Go back and look at The Very First Episode. When Fry is pushed into the Cryo-chamber you can see Nibbler's shadow. OH YES - Matt Groening plans things out long term. He probably has has much notes on content for Futurama as the Simpsons has content - it's just that for some stupid reason networks keep cancelling Futurama. It some other network keeps bringing it back - that should say something to whatever network opts to cancel it the next time and just not cancel it.

The limited run will just make the series that much better (like the Cowboy Bebop anime series). Later on Groening and Co might have a new idea to extend Disenchantment (maybe a couple of films - maybe a 'next gen' thing). Who knows. Appreciate what we did get and rewatch it on occasion.

I also found these two easter eggs in Season 5, though they're unrelated to Futurama: 1) When Bean and Mora drove away from Dreamland Castle to go to Steamland, their motorbike's tire tracks formed the spiral-lollipop symbol associated with Dreamland and the elves. 2) When Zøg referred to Derek and his other lost sons, Alva misheard the name as "Darlick". I'm certain that's a reference to the Daleks from _Doctor Who._

There's also a lot of early "Life In Hell" references in Disenchantment, which very few people ever get since the comic is 40 years old and long out of print. For example, Vipp and Vapp, Bean's buck teeth, and the repeated gags associating cats with hell are all "Life in Hell" references.

Another possible reference to the simpson is when we see Zøg voice change. He was going to sing for a show and then his voice change and for that his father hated him. The same thing happens to Homer in one episode, could be a coincidence tho

My favorite was that Metropolis reference in the final season where Bean was in the metal suit for Alva to harness her electricity. The suit looks almost exactly like the android in Metropolis. I know it's not a Futurama reference, but i liked that one the most.

Only other minor reference I caught is that in the establishing shots of the theme park in Steamland you can clearly see a giant robot with a beer in each hand (not exactly Bender in design), which to me channels the idea of robots in Futurama consuming alcohol to refuel. Also on a Futurama side note, is there a brief view of a creature that looks like The Dark One in a small glass box on display while Hermes is talking to the fortune teller robot in “Rage Against The Vaccine”?

The same episode u mention the narwhal from Futurama is on the wall of the LGS club has another picture on the wall of what looks like a person caught a fish and has the fish hanging from a rope by it's tail. Futuramas episode from season 2 episode 16 at the end bender has a giant fish that they are weighing up and they take a picture of them in front of the large fish they caught....
