I think one of the most overlooked horrible things Bojack did was when he had sex with Sarah Lynn. While it was obviously not illegal, and Sarah Lynn was not a child. Sarah Lynn was still someone Bojack has known since she was 3 years old and Bojack was always a father figure to Sarah Lynn. It would be like if Bob Saget slept with one of the Olsen twins in their thirties. And putting it in real world context makes it so much creepier! I personally think it’s one of the worst things Bojack ever did.

idk if im reading too much into it but the way the whole chicken plot is set up also reminds me of the way teh USA is so heavily structured around perpetuating racism due to the history of chattel slavery, especially since a lot of rhetoric that was used to justify slavery is basically "black people arent people like us, theyre animals" this isnt a huge leap bc many other pieces of media have drawn the historical and metaphorical lines between colonialism and meat eating (the introduction of cattle from the meat industry was used to push native americans out from their homes, and meat eating was used as asign of being 'civilized' when dehumanizing other races) but I don't feel liek bojack is the kind of show that would make that connection for some reason.

I think one of the reasons they didn't do Biden/More Trump/Harris is not only cause of how Season 20 played out, but also because of the stale jokes it would deliver. As they said with Bush, they were sick of the jokes after a year. With Trump, what are you gonna do with everybody in political/comedian media talk about him with the same damn jokes, and doing it for 8 years (and on-going)? When i first watched this episode i was 15 and i was being groomed by a 22 year old online, i had been with him for a year at that point and the entire episode made me feel sick, i defended bojack the whole time and thought it was pennys fault. Random thing about the bomb blowing up the WTC theory. I saw a doc about 9/11 on .... well, 9/11 this year, and they were showing all the different vids of when the 2nd plane hit that people took, including this one where people were on a roof close by. But because of the angle of where they were, they didn't see the full plane hit, and thought a bomb exploded, and when they were on the ground, even though many others saw the plane hit, they literally didn't believe them, and told them a bomb went off, and they were wrong about the plane So yeah, some of this stuff can happen in real time

I'm embarrassed that I used to believe these 9/11 conspiracies when I was younger but I grew up with parents who could rival Dale Gribble when it comes to believing conspiracy theories, so I basically just believed what they did until I got old enough to realize parents are still humans and therefore can be wrong and stupid.

I dont hate her, but i do understand the hate she gets. Its kinda hard to make a character likable when they are 99%, always right/always have the higher morals. I genuinely believe most of the conspiracies regarding 9/11 are BS, And the government didn’t actively orchestrate the attack. However, though they didn’t orchestrate or commit the attack, they certainly took advantage of the situation after the fact. My own personal thoughts on it are that Bush KNEW about the plan of the attacks, and let them happen anyway to justify war in Afghanistan. There was no need for C4 or whatever, as the WTC was designed like a massive tube, where any damage would cause it to collapse under its own weight. I specifically despise the really fringe ideas that “the government was in on it” and “it was done with space lasers and c4” because people see such whackjob conspiracy theories and use such works by mental patients to discredit genuine concerns about real government cover-ups and conspiracy. People still believe that Iraq had WMDs, despite the overwhelming evidence saying otherwise. People who pointed out such flimsy claims to invade were written off as crazy, and ignored as the evidence and cost of the invasion piled up ever higher. We should have realized by now that politicians lie, yet choose to ignore the facts and continue drinking their Kool Aid TL:DR Bush let it happen and Alex Jones is a deep state plant used to discredit actual federal corruption.
