Its definitely not that much, thats like a whole price class difference in bikes. If paint was that heavy we would see much more light painted or not painted bikes in the performance sector

Not that logical or they would all be plain white as it's the lightest (weight wise) colour. Same reason all planes are white, it can save like half a tonne.

@@seldom_bucketCarbon is black. They just use a clearcoat for protection and finish. Logos are Stickers. Planes are white for thermal reasons.
