Fun fact: in the corrupted GM if you fail the one phase you can clear the ads and then grab another ball to bring with you through the portal and throw at the boss when she’s on that first platform across the gap when you first spawn in. You can finish her off there without killing the champs and still get plat. My team had her 1 shot and were able to finish her off without having to go all the way to the top to do damage. Solar 3.0 is only as good as it is right now cause of classy restoration. Once that is gone there will only be two options for restoration x2 and one of them is an exotic. There is no power creep only artifact mods, which are temporary. I like it more that way cause it changes the way you play seasonally. Sure the builds will still be there, but they won't be nearly as powerful. Think of the fusion nade build without classy. You won't have survivability and to get that you would need to switch to healing nades on warlock. So don't look at it as power creep just temporary power.

@@jakestearman1564 I do like them but having a squad of hunters with 1 blade + star eaters, 1 anchor tether + omni & 1 quiver aeons. We did all the NF in a few hours heavy spamming & orb chaining. Hunters in pve are broken especially with omni & 100 res/void.

I don’t think anyone really expected the Loreley build to stomp GMs. Melee or super aggressive builds that rely on constantly getting kills choke hard in a context where team shotting becomes a necessity and immortal builds become definitely not immortal in GMs where things hit that hard. That said Loreley is still a good exotic for GMs as it’s basically a get out of jail free card, you just have to play more passively and forget about being super aggressive with hammers

Dont forget on proving grounds you can do your supers before you start the boss fight since once you hold down the button to start your super comes back. Great to have a well or bubble or swords or hammers or tethers where he lands to start the battle.

FYI, you can lob a Witherhoard shot into anythings shield (except a bubbled barrier champ) and still get the constant grenade refresh from Starfire, even if the Witherhoard damage is ticking as immune. Like Sedia's shield, or the big Psion that goes immune during Insight Terminus. That was you can still get basically infinite fusions.

Literally used the same loadout for every GM this season. Solar Syntho Titan, Arbalest, Aishas TT/Vorpal, Stormchaser Rapid Hit/Vorpal. Solar Disruption grenade/Weakening Champ mod. Easiest season by far, plus the build is straight broken. Have all 3 elements and all 3 champion mods…

The whole purpose of these guides is to show the most efficient and consistent way of clearing a nightfall. It's a guide for people who are either new to GMs or people who want to farm as quickly as possible. If build crafting is really that important to you then you probably don't need someone else to tell you how to do it. I don't mean to sound like a dick, it just seems like you're missing the whole point of these guides.

I like aztecross' builds, because they are not too gimicky and more straight forward even in the solar meta were everything is gimicky now. Esoterickk is a solo god. Unfair comparison and aztecross plays in a team with les and bombad. Of course they run a different strat and loadouts than solo esoterickk.

Missing a melee should put that melee on cooldown. Its not supposed to be a movement ability. Why are hunters bound to the mobility stat, but are the slowest class in the game. It's stupid.

Because the -40% damage resistant with 100 resilience + mod burn resist mods & seasonal mods makes it a absolute breeze. Lol

Pre-nerf protective light with pre-nerf resist mods were better (or at least on par) than 100 resilience with today's resist mods. But now you can equip a third mod with artifice armor. But not with an exotic chest armor. And the solar healing is probably the big difference which makes people stronger.

@@synestia4005 protective light pre nerf was 50% when crit hp. Resil is 47.5 at all times… 2 mods before was 40 and is now 25 I believe…. It definitely was t stronger before lol. You have flat out double base health at all times now where as before you had double hp for the last bit.

Useful glitch for proving grounds. If you run right in the face of the tank entrance boss and keep yourself pushed against his front as he moves around, he will be completely unable to attack.

Rookie question here but how do you spawn wells with your build? Is there just a non zero chance to spawn them in general? I was under the assumption you had to use one of the well mods to generate them

You have to use one of the well mods to generate them but depending on the mod, you may have to defeat multiple enemies to get them to spawn. Like with Elemental Armaments. Every 4th or 5th kill will spawn one, while Elemental Ordnance will spawn a well every time though there is a cooldown after one spawns.

@@rustler08 well yeah arbalest is gonna be better at doing what ogma does. But I run ogma because I prefer running weapons like witherhoard in a gm. Ogma serves a similar purpose to arbalest without the need for an exotic or special ammo. And when the nightfall is solar burn it kicks ass three bursting anti barrier shields and almost doing it in two. Edit: forgot to mention it has disruption break which gives it that substitution for arbi

I think that GM’s should be lowered to 1580, not 1585. I can go into the “pinnacle” pvp mode (trials of depression) and do fine at 1560. For GM’s, I have to reach pinnacle cap and have an extra 15 artifact levels to do them. It’s way to demanding for players who don’t play everyday and can’t get pinnacles every week
