Once seeing and knowing the ending, it’s lost all its sense of mystery. The lead-up which is about 80% of the movie becomes boring and dragged on feeling

How on earth is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets boring? It actually is my favorite Harry Potter movie and my favorite Harry Potter story just as well. Lots of things happen like who opened up the Chamber of Secrets, why are the kids getting petrified, Harry and Ron meet with the spiders, there’s a dueling fight club, Harry could be the grandson of the heir of Slytherin, the Polyjuice potion scene, I can go on. I was literally sadly coincidentally was just talking to a friend last night who also said that the movie was boring and I don’t get it at all. I used to be afraid of Harry Potter when I was a kid despite seeing the first one twice in theaters with my cousins and then my friends which the second one conquered. A month later I began reading Harry Potter books. Chamber of Secrets was the very first Harry Potter movie I ever owned and even when I owned many more down the line it was always mainly Chamber of Secrets I turned to the most. I just love the mystery and I love how Harry has to save his Muggle magic friends and how everything comes together in the end. So yeah I apparently have different taste with the movie because I don’t see anything boring with the movie at all. I just don’t get why people find it boring not at all.😞

Sad fact about order of the Phoenix: The reason it was muted when Daniel Radcliffe screamed was because he sounded so authentically heartbroken that they were uncomfortable putting it in film. There is a clip where you can partially hear it but not fully.

Chamber of secrets is underrated it has a great plot with the basilisk, a great mystery to find out who the heir is, the introduction to the poly juice potion which becomes a MAJOR part of other books and movies. Especially with Barry crouch jr pretending by Moody and the battle of the Seven Potters. Along with many other disguises. Not to mention the basilisk itself was more based on practical effects with only a little bit of CGI and if it STILL scares people to this day, you can tell the directors and effects workers did something RIGHT!

i just have to say that my favourite has the be the half blood prince. the 6th movie had just the right amount of seriousness teenage romance and action all the way from the introduction of slug horn to Harry and Ginny's first kiss the the sad death of Dumbledore it was all so heart felt/action worthy/romantic/funny/a bit of hoarseness. i loved every second of this movie and would watch it over any of them

I love all of the Harry Potter films. I have two of my favorite and that I feel that is the strongest that took the series as a whole into an different direction that is The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire, where they push the levels of maturity in it’s audiences despite being an children’s series, which I feel that is a very brilliant approach of growing up with’s audiences.

My ranking: Btw I love all 8 movies, in my opinion there isn’t a single one of them I don’t like 8. Half blood prince - I always felt like this movie’s plot went very slow, and focused a lot about the golden trio during puberty. Although, I find this one slow tho, it’s still enjoyable and has a lot of important stuff on Tom riddle. 7 - Deathly hallows part 1 - it was also pretty slow, because it was setting up the final film, but it’s an amazing character study, showing how far we’ve gone with these 3 characters. And dobby’s death is the saddest in the franchise 6 - Philosopher’s Stone - an amazing beginning to the franchise that introduces the characters and the wizarding world amazingly. It does amazing trying to take everything out of book and putting it in the movie. 5 - Chamber of Secrets - does everything amazing from the first movie, and it enters a more dark story, with Tom Riddle involved and the mystery in this film was amazing. Again, it did very good taking out everything from book and putting it in the movie. 4 - Order of the Phoenix - an amazing movie that starts showing us the battle between Dumbledore’s Army and the Death Eaters and it did amazing taking out only what was important from the book and putting it into the movie. 3 - Prisoner of Azkaban - an amazing movie that introduces us to a group of new characters, whilst taking out only the stuff important about Harry and putting it in the movie. 2 - Goblet of Fire - I enjoy this movie a lot because it’s the first movie in the franchise, to become a lot more darker and it introduces Voldemort and the Triwizard Tournament elements were amazing and the Mad Eye Moody mystery was amazing. 1 - Deathly Hallows Part 2 - I’ve never seen such an amazing ending to a movie franchise. It concludes everything that’s happening to the characters and the final battle was epic.

Everyone holds up Half-Blood Prince as so good but there's something about it that I just can't connect to. I never remember anything about it except Dumbledore's death and even that was underwhelming to me because he knew he had to die plus he was like 700 years old

@@jordanwilliams676 I think the movie is good. Everything with Draco is good. Strongest visual style of the David Yates movies. Very funny (like when Harry is sucking up to Slughorn) Also the Snape stuff, even though it’s improved by the Deathly Hallows, and wouldn’t work as well on its own. Half-blood Prince: Harry Potter: “He trusted you!!” Deathly Hallows: Dumbledore: “You must be the one to kills me. Only then will you gain Voldemorts trust.”

Out of all the Harry Potter movies, The Philosopher’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets are definitely the best ones. I don’t mind The Prisoner of Azkaban, but I probably would have liked it more if the story of Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs wasn’t omitted.

The first two are my favorite. They have a certain charm the others didn’t . They ended making u feel heartwarming. “ there’s no Hogwarts without u Hagrid “ the score was so strong and the theme stayed throughout the series and without such a prominent start we wouldn’t have had the series . Chris Columbus directing is nothing short of magic itself . The build up to Voldemort is so well earned it makes him intimidating even when he’s not on screen and the build up is stronger than when he actually was in the later films imo . u get a sense of how Harry , Ron’s, and Hermione’s bond grows into best friends . The characters and cast is great Ron tbh being the stand out as the comic relief . the pacing was perfect . Surprised that the beautiful start In the series are so unloved .

I still don’t understand why Chamber of Secrets is ranked so low, even to be considered “boring”. It’s my favorite in the series. The students being petrified, Harry hearing voices, the forbidden forest sequence of meeting and escaping Aragog, the creepy messages on the wall, the flashback sequence of 50 years ago, the showdown in the chamber, Harry and Draco dueling, I mean c’mon. And the best scene in the whole movie for me is when Harry and Ron are discussing the chamber and discovering it’s a basilisk lurking throughout the school, chilling. Also, my favorite scene in Sorcerer’s Stone is the Forbidden forest where Harry sees Voldemort lurking around from a distance, only to come face to face with him shortly after. I’ll forever imitate the “dont/not to forget the pincers”; *insert clicking noise and lobster-esque claws* at 5:05 at truly any possible highly inappropriate moment to try and get someone else to have to struggle to not start laughing or better get the giggles as the line from hagrid “that too mhm” as you can just catch that persons eye again and gesture like harry does id get my friends all the time with it as theyre huge potter fans too, after seeing the chamber of secrets in the cinema id always wait until after id seen the film to read that book go to the cinema and see each new film but before going into the cinema id buy the book so that you get to enjoy the film without it being second-best, it gives you 2 sets of magic when you then get to read the book after and see what was different/context changed etc and being autistic ive found that ive never enjoyed chamber of secrets as much as the other films as it was the one time id read the book before seeing the film and being an only child it was the only book/film series’ that i pushed through the sensory overload as autism friendly cinema screenings weren’t a thing back when the Harry Potter series came out, the deathly hallows pt 2 was the first time they had an autism friendly showings and i could take my grandma with me as shes deaf so having subtitles on screen or audio-loop setup was perfect for us both, also no one has commented it yet on this video but Rest in Pussycat heaven Professor McGonogall may you get all the dreamies you could want or her muggle title Dame Maggie Smith, 89 years of being an icon and thanks for making my childhood that bit more sparkly😩 my therapy cat Dinah looks absolutely IDENTICAL to the cat they showed in Philosopher’s Stone just Dinah’s smaller, my cat before I got Dinah was called Luna after ms lovegood and a week before she passed away i got the Luna Lovegood rucksack from Platform 9 + 3/4 thats her pink glasses from half blood prince! wasnt kidding when i said i was a potter super fan😅🙌🏻✨

How can people like time travelling? It leaves so many plot holes in its wake that it severly weakens any story it is used in. If one can time travel, what's the point of the story? That's the core reason I wouldn't place azkaban higher, otherwise it is a great movie, but time travelling ruins it.
