Installation is simpler if you remove only 1 bolt at a time. And the cap bolts are used to protect the contents of your saddle bag from being scratched up by the exposed end of the bolt.

Yes, if you can find longer mounting bolts to support all of the add-ons fitted towards the back of your bike.

@@Offgridinmaine I own a 2025 scout bobber. All the new scouts uses a completely different frame and accessories mounting components. I bought one and unfortunately these do not fit
