Please can you do an interview with Igor Stimac like this and ask why we are not having any international friendlies before the qualifier's. Does he seriously think the intercontinental cup was enough! We were getting better and in the Syria match there were some promising signs as players began to gain confidence, understand each others playing styles more and leaders started to emerge taking charge of play at times. But this is still not enough. Just a couple more friendlies will really go a long way way in providing the experience and nesscary match time needed before Oman. Even just 2 matches against say UAE and another team to really test us. Also how about Ashique, Raynier Fernandez, Anus etc don't they need a few matches to get used to the new team?

Surely they need to establish a consistent style of play first and use it on another team before a serious match. Surprises are what causes nerves in players when the pressures on, because they've never played like that against another team. But I hope he can pull it off as we have the talent to shock the other Asian team's.

Bengalis are known for their football passion, cricket is far behind. FSDL chairperson Nita Ambani had said that now EB and MB on board, ISL is complete. Star TV is very happy. EB and MB match will have highest TRP may be after any European derby. IF not this year next year ISL would find what fanatic fans are these two clubs having. Any away venue across India will find 30% to 40% spectators either supporting EB or MB. Flights/trains from Kolkata will be full with supporters who will travel to cheer their teams, hotels will have occupancy for these supporters. ISL could not see till this time what is football passion in India.
