People hating on Kendrick a lot because they wanted him to try to save the world again. Maybe he wants to save himself for once? Also I think he has got one of the best discographies ever in hip-hop just look at the album runs it’s been so consistent throughout the years. K-Dot is a album maker that’s why he’s at the top. Drake and J. Cole get compared to him a lot but I don’t see the consistency… I think they are amazing rappers but I don’t think they are touching K-Dot.

People think UU is just b sides but he put work into those songs to make a whole different project that is its own thing and it’s incredible. I thought it was an 8/10 at first but I think it’s more of a 9/10. With DAMN I think the reverse, but not by much. I think it’s a strong 8, but maybe a 9 on a good day. I think Morale is better though but slightly.

I think the Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers has some really good songs, but I honestly think Damn had a more interesting flow from front to back. To me I rate them on the same level though like a strong 7 to light 8. Kendrick hasn’t really topped GKMC or TPAB yet imo, but still very excited to see what he does in the future. Not every album can be a masterpiece, but at least they’re always quality

Before mmtbs, tpab was my favourite album of all time. But now its mmtbs. The jazzy bar/ musical performance vibe combined with the therapy concept really speak to me. For me the most relatable and beautiful album out of his discography. Youre free to have your own opinion tho :)

@@analogies completely agree, TPAB is one of the GOAT albums for me too. I just find that MMTBS serves a completely different purpose so it's hard to make a direct comparison. To me, Kendrick is top 5 ever already, if he makes an album that tops TPAB he's undisputed the GOAT.

@@leonghchan I truly feel that he will top TPAB some day. That album was a concept he had been brewing in his mind for many years. Good ideas take time to incubate until they’re ready to hatch. As long as Kendrick keeps his skills sharp and his wit smart I think it’s only a matter of time when he releases another powerful idea like that again. And the change of purpose or direction is completely warranted and fine even encouraged imo. It’s all about how well he’s able to execute those ideas and push them to the furthest possible place where he breaks new ground. That’s what I’m most excited to see him do at least. Until then I’ll enjoy watching his artistic journey. Like I said before every album is always so quality. He’s definitely one of best artists living today no doubt
