Toon link was a disappointment for me: He could have had completely different items like his giant leaf, the grappling hook, random arrows with a chance of getting a light arrow (stitch turnip style), the iron boots or skull hammer and tons of other items that could have made him really unique. I get that clones make design easier and that we may have never got him at all otherwise, but i was hyped to see he was in brawl and was disappointed when i tried him. Today i love him though

Megaman is literally the easiest character to analyze. Almost of his attacks are named after the robot master they come from, and Sakurai himself made it a point to emphasize that they took almost every other animation he has from the games. That spin and sheath move actually is done in TP if you sheath it IMMEDIATELY after killing an enemy, it doesn't even matter what move you used, from the Finisher to a regular swipe

It’s been said before but I’m having an aneurism so I’m going to say it, too. The Hero of Time is a phrase that refers to only one version of Link- From Ocarina of Time. Twilight Princess is the Hero of Twilight, the Hero of the Skies is Skyward Sword, and so on. Each one can be referred to by a unique title, and no one title can be used to refer to any of the others. It would have been just as wrong to replace “Hero of Time” with “Hero of the Minish” or “Hero of Winds”. I went into a Sheldon Cooper-esque rant this morning at breakfast and now I’m late to work! I love your videos and have been watching them ALL lately, and your little intro animation is SEXY as HELL, but this triggered me so hard.
