Check out the updated version of this video which includes No Way Home, Into the Spider-Verse, Across the Spider-Verse, Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and obviously Morbius! (And even a couple more Spider-Men): kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH-oXnqOptGhqMU ***CUT FOOTAGE & MUTED AUDIO*** Unfortunately, after publishing, we had to mute a few seconds of audio and trim out a few seconds of footage. We’ll fix this when we publish the updated video with ‘No Way Home’. In the meantime, here’s what you missed: 1:16:39 (Video skips a few seconds here) “You saved my daughter’s life,” He says. “I could never forget something like that. So I’m gonna give you one chance. You walk through those doors, you forget any of this happened and don’t you ever, ever interfere with my business again. Because if you do, I’ll kill you and everybody you love.” That’s what he’d do to protect his family. Peter nods and heads inside. 1:30:13 No one cares unless you wear a cape or shoot lasers from your hands. Mysterio: “Well, I've got a cape and lasers. With our technology and with EDITH, Mysterio will be the greatest hero on Earth! Then everyone will listen!” At the hotel, Peter celebrates the end of his mission… 1:31:02 “It's our last night in Europe, and I had this plan that I wanted to tell you” Peter begins. “I'm just gonna tell you. MJ, I-” "I'm Spider-Man." She finishes his sentence. Peter denies it but MJ points out that she’s been watching him… 1:31:22 Then Peter has a heartbreaking realization, “Were you only watching me because you thought I was Spider-Man?” Peter asks. “Yeah,” MJ responds. “Why else would I be watching you?” “Doesn’t matter,” Peter says. “I just thought that maybe-” Suddenly the device activates…

i always love the Tobey Maguire spider-man, they show Peter as a underdog, still dealing with problems like everybody else, focusing in school, graduating from school, getting a job. facing personal, financial and even relationship problems
@zzodysseuszz2 жыл бұрын
No they don’t. They give him money problems but it’s played off for jokes and has no impact outside of that. They give him dating problems but his love interest is a toxic piece of a crap who manipulates people to make them feel bad like going to marry someone just to make Peter jealous yet she’s made to look like the desirable girlfriend. He has no real issues and his underdog bullshit is not relatable bc none of it actually mattered and he’s a hero that everyone loves. Even his critics like JJJ is comical.. He’s not an underdog. He’s only an underdog to six year olds.
@MShadowj2 жыл бұрын
@@zzodysseuszz "Played off for jokes". Yeah, for jokes... totally. Not being able to help economically his Aunt May when she is about to lose the house lol. The idea of the "jokes" are meant to show how he is treated, for us is laughs, for Peter it's feeling like shit. This is not the MCU kid where everything it's a joke. Also, MJ it's a whole complex thinking she has, she obviously understood back then that she should move on from Peter and was trying to. She kinda loved this guy and was about to marry but of course she still had feelings for Peter since he never stopped caring for her. I agree this could have played a little better but relationships tend to be dumber irl as well.

@@MShadowj dumbass aunt Mays issues are never brought up outside of a single conversation and are simply used for an inspirational quote about why Parker shouldn’t blame himself for bens death (a conflict that has no impact outside of that conversation) And every other conversation about aunt may’s money problems (like the one in the bank) is used for JOKES. like the scene of the bank being robbed by doc ock and the bank clergy trying to snag some coin and aunt may smacking his hand playing into the old grandma stereotype. You’re being such a massive fanboy that you’re coping hard enough to form a black hole made of pure copium. No they aren’t meant to portray how Peter is treated. They’re literally there for a quick gag and are never mentioned again. Stop being a fan girl. no that is complete fucking wrong. MJ literally dated JJJ’s son JUST to make Peter jealous. She literally says she doesn’t care about him. She says she’ll only date Peter until he makes more money, and bc he’s broke he’s not good enough. So she goes on to marry someone else disturbingly fast to rush Peter saying if you don’t give up your hobbies or whatever else you are doing and focus on me and your job to make better wages then I’ll never date you. She’s toxic. She only cares about rich guys and liked to manipulate peters emotions to feel special and would dump Peter literally just bc he wasn’t making enough money.
@zzodysseuszz2 жыл бұрын
@@zzxsde5252 such as? Tobey literally has no development. There isn’t a single he grows from in the entire trilogy and his conflicts are solved instantly and didn’t even affect Peter before they were solved. They have no impact outside of one line of dialogue. Meanwhile Tom was repeatedly told he wasn’t good enough to get involved with serious crimes but nobody was taking him seriously, he would try to solve it himself and repeatedly fail and then get into worse positions. He got his suit taken from him, he got disowned by his mentor for a bit and he got his girlfriend involved by accident putting her in danger and had to step up and do better before things got too bad for him to fix. Meanwhile Tobey’s movie literally copies and pastes the same fucking plot twice in two movies. Spider man 2 is LITERALLY the same plot as the first movie with the exact same layout and writing. They even end the same way.

Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, on the other hand, is already far into his adulthood that his other two counterparts are and is more chill and mature than any of them. @@jeszla5987 true but MCU is more realistic (at least for a tech-savvy world). I've always loved spider man as a kid growing up exited to watch every re-run, but to me andrew's version insued the most emotional damage to the audience with the amount of chemistry between peter and gwen aswell as uncle ben, the promises he made and the hard ships he had to go through with from the back and forths with gwen and harry.Andrew's version will always be my favourite due to the relationship with gwen and stunts performed . Although Tobey's version displayed more of a superhero/heroic style with the evil version of himself and being an amazing peter parker ,while andrew's was more a romance vibes and a great spider man and tom's was a mix of both balancing peter and spider man doing and doing a great job . At the end of the day they all did a phenomenal job and I think instead of re-runs they just portraying spider man in different ways like alternate times lines or universes each holding their own values and characteristics.

The personal conflict and plots full of heart is what makes the original Spider-Man trilogy the best. The Amazing Spider-Man is a horrible reboot story-wise but saved only by Andrew's impeccable acting. The writers had the second chance to put a heart in the story and they delivered with the Amazing Spider-Man 2, and here of course Andrew Garfield acting is flawless once again. The Marvel Spider-Man with Tom Holland is the reboot with a teen-ager Peter Parker who loves to talk. Story-wise, there's no heart but come on, it's Marvel and we all know it's super entertaining. EDIT: (and spoiler) OK, Marvel's Spider-Man No Way Home brought back a plot where Peter Parker has a lot of personal dilemma, emotional conflicts and stabbing in the heart. This is the Peter Parker with substance that fans are looking for. Nice job!
