As a mage main, I would like to revise this. First, get bombs from pots and raid corruption to get vilethorn, and use it to kill eater of worlds, then get gray zapinator from traveling merchant, and kill everything from that. Next, get crystal serpent like he did, and if you want to make a graveyard for dryad to get crimson and make golden shower, but it isn’t needed. Kill duke fishron and get razorblade typhoon, then speedrun until you beat empress of light and get stellar tune. From my experience, stellar tune can do similar dps to the likes of the razorpine and even the nebula blaze, while being less painful to get and obtainable earlier. That is all you need, but you can also get nebula blaze too if you want.

Good guide, my only change would be to skip chlorophyte and save the bars for spectre right away after plantera. I'd also personally choose forbidden armor over 3rd hardmode ore sets. But other than that, it's a great progression guide for beginners. Good job

Wand of sparkling is 100% better than 1st tier ore staffs. The only problem is range, everything else is better. Also, it's equal if not better than tier 2 ore staffs. Tho, tier 3 is where shit gets crazy

No, the later tier gem staves deal more damage, have the same piercing, and longer reach. The Wand of Sparking/Wand of Frosting is good as a starter weapon, but its damage output is far too bad to be effective at anything even decently late into pre-Hardmode
