11:42, it may just be my ears, but this sounds more like Hank Azaria to me, and he has filled in for guest star characters before, such as in ‘The Front’ where he voices Roger Meyers Jr. Compare Fat Tony’s voice here with Disco Stu who was introduced later on and was also played by Azaria and i think you would also hear a resemblance. However I’d appreciate any extra info on this.
@SpykeTheSU4 ай бұрын
Some of my other awesome commenters have pointed this out and I get where they’re coming from but Wikipedia, and both Simpsons fan wikis are adamant that’s Hartman. However if you listen to the Stockbroker and the other mobsters you kinda hear the vocal similarities to Hartmans Fat Tony. That being said I’m only human and Ive made mistakes before just check out my James Earl Jones video for example.
@rileyalt12514 ай бұрын
@@SpykeTheSU In my very limited experience i’ve come to learn that a lot of the time wiki pages (especially fan-wikis) tend to be home to info that’s been passed through around 5 sets of ears before being put on the page, so i generally trust my instincts on this one, however i’m inclined to look into this a bit further as if this potentially false credit has become so popular on fansites it must have started somewhere. Maybe someone figured since Hartman had a habit of playing 2 or 3 characters per episode he was in, and since Joe Mantegna was uncredited, two unrelated dots ended up being connected? That’s just my speculation. Having been a consistent viewer of the show for most of my life though i hope i don’t come off as bigheaded when i say i think i can recognise each main member of the voice cast and tell them apart. I don’t blame you for going with the one credit that’s listed in most places.
