Id agree with yuh, all of my power tools are Milwaukee and the bare essentials for me to go and do mobile calls are normally a drill, stubby impact, and my high torque with a 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 set of sockets, multi meter, jacks, jack stands, stubby mid length 1/4in ratchet, stubby mid length and extra long 3/8 ratchet, long 1/2 ratchet and a 36in breaker bar, multi meter, a set of wrenches from 8mm to 40mm and 1/4in to 2in, pry bars, rouneded nut extractors, cheap amaozn boroscope and a good scan tool and a 3/8 digitial and 1/2 digital torque wrench. That'll cover you for nearly 90% of the work you'd be doing on the road or for most lower level techs in a shop that services larger diesels such as F750's or c5500's. I have 1/4 impacts, auto ratchest, cut off wheels, grinders, and a bunch of specialty tools kits but for the vast majority of automotive or diesel work you dont need anything fancy a lot of the tools folks will buy will make small tasks easier and more effiecent but that comes with experiences, don't over spend and get only what you need to do the job, yes you will be slow and no you wont beat book time but after that job youll know exactly what tools could've made the process quicker. And even if you don't know what tools could've improved your work flow watch some tools reviews and you'll stumble across something that would've been a god send for a job you did in your past, experience makes you who you are, not what tools you have

@@stevo1977 thanks for the comment man! Love the extra knowledge here, hopefully it can help future viewers. How long have you been rocking the Milwaukee? They honestly seem to be taking over the automotive power tool field. I remember about 5 years ago a few guys getting Milwaukee 1/2 electric impacts and being laughed at… now I see a lot of techs going Milwaukee for the 1/2 impact and all the 1/4 & 3/8 electric ratchets and but guns too. I think people are more hurting for money these days and know snap on is over priced for most things, also we have tool people on the internet showing who actually makes most of these tools. Solid tool list man!! I agree, that sounds about right to be able to get most work done. The speciality stuff comes with time like you said. I should’ve added borescope to this part 2 video… dangit! Time to do a separate video on the borescope lol
