Doakes wouldn't sympathize if he saw the ritual. Since he himself is a bit of a vigilante too he would've see the kill justified, but it's execution is a product of a sick mind. Started out good, then Dexter made a bunch of dumb mistakes and was actually caught and brought to the small town police station. He then kills a cop to escape. It then teased us with Batista returning after he got a phone call by the Cop ex. GF and he was supposed to go there and extradite/bring Dexter back to Miami to stand trial where it all began which would have been cool to see them interact again, but then he just never showed up and Dexter was then killed anticlimactically by his own son with a single gun shot. Like how do you screw up that badly? Teasing us with something that never happens? Not only that, but the way his new GF on the show found out was stupid too. But after that (TV rules I guess) he kills them with a knife to the heart before he starts cutting them up. In the books? They are all alive. Sometimes still talking while he's working. @@GarredHATES I read the premise of the show and I say what is so dishonorable about what Dexter does? He's killing scumbags. I'm a survivor of child rape and my PTSD, Manic Depression and Severe Anxiety Dysfunction are off the charts. I am team Dexter and I am going to binge watch this show.

Nah one of the dumbest things Dexter was doing for me was never wearing a mask or trying to hide his face. He’d get caught several times because someone either has a camera or there’s a witness somewhere that saw him kidnapping people. He did his absolute best to always cover his tracks but never hid his face????

Also when you dont use gloves to hold one end of Duck Tape while sticking down plastic sheeting on a wall a Fingerprint will be on the sticky side and the Top side, This Show was just Hilariously Badly Done. The Crime scenes were abundant with Fingerprints and DNA and foot prints, Also wearing your daily clothes No Hair Net etc also contaminated the crime scene. In the UK He would have been caught within 4 Days,
