I remember people calling TS-5 toxic. Now compare this monster to the TS-5. The XM has better armor, it has a turret. TS-5 has 248 penetration, XM has 270. TS-5 has 400 damage, XM has 630. I'm not even gonna compare it with the regular tech tree tanks. It's a pure pay-2-win the most toxic tank in the game.

I have a sneaking Claus Kellerman level theory, the reason they release these toxic tanks at tier 8 is to make the MM for credit grinding at that tier so toxic that you are forced to buy a tier 9 prem. Could be that I am wrong but it reeks of that.

I think tier 8 being toxic is just a consequence of power creeping. Wargaming realizes this and had made tier 9 premium. Now the only problem is if they release anything better than DTZ it will break tier 9 too. DTZ already stretching it.

The biggest issue in my opinion is tier VI and VII. As long as these tanks are locked to only+ MM it would be ok. Tier VII is still kind of fun, as long as you don't have to face these tier VIII donkey-tanks.

I am a RU server player and guess what? We already have it as a tier 10 vehicle with the same alpha but with the 360 HEAT as a gold round. Thus I believe that this tank is supposed to be at the tier 10😂😂. Love your vids! ❤

You push, you penetrate. This tank and gun slaps really hard. One issue which might contribute to the problems inside of world of tanks are rations and bond equipment. Those factors have to be included while trying to balance the tanks. But on the other hand, those special-premiums have to be fun for "normal" people, so tanks get extremely broken when used to its full potential (e.g. hit rate is very important).

The module damage of this tank is 210 which is tied to the other 155mm guns of the t95, t30, e3, e4 and foch 155. Most ammoracks without the safe stowage perk have 210 hp. Most fueltanks sit at 200 hp. Just keep in mind. This tier 8 tank claps modules harder than 150mm guns of the 60tp, Grille, Blyska or 268. at tier 10.

this is the first year i bought boxes. got really lucky getting all the tanks i expected to enjoy the Contra and DZT the most. i do still prefer the DZT over the XM but the XM is just such a bully of a tank. it peeks corners like a gremlin and devourers enemies like a all you can eat buffet. its just so insane. and i even have the Grom but man XM is comfier to play

alot of the tier 8 tds are balanced out with how clunky they play out, for eg isu152 is a glass cannon turretless td and the rhm borsig though it has a turret, its a glass cannon with low top speed. with the xm57 released its just a t95 with a turret, and if it plays hull down, its difficult to deal with for most tier 8s, or impossible for tier 7s and 6s. Even the xm66f that was released last year is a far more balanced tank. Sure the xm57 is slow, but with the design of most maps focused on corridor fights, its not a problem for it.

One of the best things to do in this TD is to get an HE pen with it, since it can clock over 1k dmg if you roll slightly high Overall, I say I quite like this one, perhaps it is my favourite out of the bunch of tanks this year. If the speed/power to weightratio was better, then I would love it even more but then again if it was fast, then that would just make it WAYYYY too OP

I actually love tanks like this. It's slow, predictable, flankable and, most importantly, still penetrable. XM is very strong in the frontal brawl, but pays with everything else. Let's be realistic, this tank at tier 8 is weaker then E3 at tier 10. This tank is actually very good. Enjoyable to play on it, no big problem to play against it. Compare this to BZ-176 and you would immediately understand that this tank is totally fine. I approve it so much.

Not gonna lie, I think that every tank in the right hands can be a deadly weapon. Just notice that in each and every game there is a nother XM in the enemy team that is not doing that well. I dont want to sound like a hater, but maybe its just because you understand the game so well that it is possible for you to use the tank to its full potential. You are just that good and its not because of the tank being op.
