Andrew's cardinal sin is arrogance, as he never admits to being wrong, Ashley is always the scapegoat, he wears a good guy mask to protect his self-image, he blames others for his mistakes, he plays the victim, he manipulates the player telling him that he is being used by Ashley, he always prioritizes himself first, kills people who could harm him, lies to avoid responsibilities and about who he is, deceives Júlia to eliminate rumors about him and Ashley, uses Júlia to satisfy his desires incestuous by Ashley, the part where he says that boys show their love by touching women's hair, we saw that he does this all the time with Ashley, imagine Ashley making threats about Julia, he must even feel pleasure in seeing his younger sister Wanting him so much, he loves his sister's obsession with him, instead of turning himself in for Nina's murder, he thinks about hiding Nina's whereabouts, as he didn't want to be arrested and lose Ashley. Andrew has shown himself to be someone who cares above all about himself and only about Ashley, he is the most superb and psychopathic protagonist I have ever met, even the kit9 studio itself denied that Andrew is a victim of Ashley in a video on his channel: Narrator saying: "Forget all that, she's sooooo family" Narrator saying: "Do you care about your family?" Don't get me wrong they're both monsters but of the two its Ashley by LONG shot. A demon itself comments that her soul is as dark as tar. Andrew likely would have ended up just another delusional narcissist without her. It begs the question is it worse that his actions were learned or is it worse that Leyley was born evil? Grandiosity (as you described), lack of empathy (check), sense of entitlement (check), and an overall seeking of admiration/validation from other people (which he gets from Ashley and other women tbh). Even as they are about to sacrifice their parents he still cares enough to deflect what they think of him, a psychopath wouldn't (like Ashley doesn't shes quick to turn the knife). He's constantly worried about his perception even through his sardonic commentary. He chokes when they're dining on their neighbor (Ashley doesn't). He blushes and panics when they get a certain vision of the future. (Ashley doesn't). The point is the second Leyley pressured him into luring Nina into playing hide and seek it was over. Now that he had one body on his conscience whats another? He's not a victim but the point remains at one point he did have a conscience and it still continues to bleed through from time to time. Ashley doesn't.

I respectfully disagree with your assignment of lust to Ashley. First of all, you claim that Ashley was *pissed* that Andrew chose a two bedroom motel room, but I don't think she was angry at all. She was making an observation: "Leave it to Andrew to get a room with two beds... and then get night terrors and ask me to comfort him." She's observing that the situation is kind of ironic, perhaps even humorous. After the "special" premonition that can be seen in the burial route, we can see that Ashley reacts awkwardly, though not as badly as Andrew does. She can tease Andrew about the vision and get under his skin, which is keeping with her character throughout the game. However, later at the bridge, Ashley thinks about that vision and sees it as "one way to keep him around." She hasn't had those kind of thoughts toward Andrew before, but she is willing to pursue it in order to keep her Andy. I believe that lust should instead go to Andrew, who has at least been implied to be more "active" before the events of the game. In the flashback with his ex, we can see him request that she tie her hair up, much like Ashley. If Andrew observes his bed at the motel, the narrator will sarcastically remark about the authenticity of Andrew's nightmares, the reason Ashley has to comfort him at night. We see Andrew stick his fingers through Ashley's belt loop. You could argue that Lust applies to both Ashley and Andrew, but I would argue it most certainly apples to Andrew more than Ashley.

​​@@JellySandwichesAllNight at the time of robbing their parents for money (and as a sacrifice for the demon) at chapter 2, ashley and andrew went to their parents house suspecting their parents werent home. at 10 in the morning (i think thats the time) they wanted to do the ritual now to recharge their device that makes them see the future, so they did. they needed to tie them up for no escape, andrew went to their parents bedroom and stupidly made enough noise to wake dad up. dad clueless said what was he doing, andrew for some dumbass reason said "i want to fuck myself" dad was i think drunk and let it happen after andrew came back, dad was seen going down the stairs to the basement. andrew was in a neck slitting position like that image. and the rest is where that came from..

His nightmares are most likely a bs excuse to sleep in the same bed, wanted Julia to tie her hair up like Ashley's, stares at her lips, says he doesn't need an excuse to touch her ass, while it's not stated i believe his "thoughts he wished he never had" are about Ashley, wanted the one guard to die slower for leering at Ashley, gets possed off at the mention of her getting with someone else (cultist neighbor, callgirl numbers).

I think many are very unfair to Andrew. He is a victim of 99% of what happens in the game. 1) Kill the girl: When you are 8-9 years old you are not aware of everything that can happen, including leaving someone locked up to dead. Andy locked the girl up because her sister threw a huge tantrum at him and made him feel guilty. As children, we are very manipulative and if we add that to the fact that Andy thought the girl was not going to die. It sounds quite reasonable that Andrew would leave the girl locked up for being manipulated by his sister. 2) Hide the girl's body: It is normal to want to hide something that you are going to be blamed for, especially if it is not primarily your fault and you think you will go to jail. Of course, the best thing is that he would have turned himself in and hope that the penal system would put him in the best of cases with psychologists in an orphanage or in the worst of cases in a correctional facility. But Andrew being a little boy, it's normal that he didn't make the best choice. 3) All the people he killed with his sister in the hotel: In a survival situation, it is kill or be killed, when your life is in danger you cannot afford to be merciful, especially if other people want to kill you or hinder you . Is survival. 4) Steal and kill his parents along with his sister: In this case we are in a super specific situation. His parents sold him to die and also the justice system would persecute them for the hotel. It is normal for them to resort to stealing from their parents to survive. Andrew reacting to Dave's whereabouts: "You eliminated him because he would be a danger later, and also because he would be a witness" What a calculating killer Andrew is, he lies to his little sister and the players so well, that there are people who don't see the villain behind the mask. He lies to his parents to pretend to be considerate towards him, even his mother, who is a psychopath like him, fell for Andrew's lies and dissimulation, thinking he was doing it out of manipulation of Ashley but in reality, he never had any empathy by his parents, he just pretended to have it. Andrew knew about Ashley's threats towards Júlia, Ashley's symbolism in the window of Andrew's dream proves this, he was aware of Ashley's evil actions towards Júlia (she practiced self-mutilation, which is why she wears cold clothes), but He didn't give a damn, knowing all this, he told Júlia at the end of the relationship that he had nothing to be responsible for. I think Andrew is actually the one who is "lustful." Sure, he actively denies it, yet he keeps going into his sister's bed at night and even asks his girlfriend (who looks a lot like Ashley from the start) to put her hair up. Ashley, on the other hand, treats the whole thing very... calculatively. Sure, she is willing to have sex with him, but she does admit in one of the routes she doesn’t actually feel either way about it. It's just another way to manipulate her brother into staying with her. You could argue that is a form of "lust" for her brother, just not actually sexual, but Andrew is definitely the one who is actually down bad.

Wasn't it confirmed by Nemlei *and* the game that Ashley doesn't lust for Andrew, but she will do it if it means that Andrew wilk stay with her? It's not like she's jealous that Julia can "do it" with her Andy because she wants to, it's because she knows it's a way of affection that at that point she believed Andrew wouldn't (or rather couldn't) do it with her. She was mad at the ability that Julia had to get closer with Andrew that she didn't have. It's very unclear if she wants a romantic relationship with Andrew but we know that she doesn't lust for him like that. That's all him. Andrew lusts for Ashley, as every "intimate" interaction was brought on by him. (And before anyone says the *chomp* scene, that was just Ashley being playful, even if it did get Andrew aroused, it probably wasn't even her intention)
