One of the most hideous serial kilers ever. He single handedly decimated the population of Helgasund by at least 22%... Edit: It has come to my attention, that my analysis of these murders sparked an extremely important debate about some semantical and mathematical problems in my statement. I am very glad for some of your thoughtful input and I am honored for this chance to collaborate with some of the most relevant intellectuals of our time. Certainly you, aswell as me, must have many other pressing matters to attend. So let me attempt a re-evaluation of the situation: Let x be the current population of Helgasund with x >= 8 (previously I assumed 7) Let x(n-1) be the population before the killings with x(n-1) = x + dx Let dx be the number of people murdered with dx = x(n-1) - x >= 2 Let p be the decrease in population = (dx/x(n-1)) * 100% If we minimize the values x and dx, we get x(n-1) = 10 and p = 20% If we maximize x and dx we get x=lim(x) = dx=lim(dx) = infinity and therefore lim(x(n-1)) = 2*infinity and p = 50% (ThIs mUsT DeFiNeTLY bE TrU, BEeCaUsE METH) If we maximize x and minimize dx we get x=lim(x) = inf and dx = 2 and therefore p=0% If we minimize x and maximize dx we get x=8, dx= inf and and p = 100% p can not = 0 or 100% Therefore we can DEFINITELY conclude, that the killer would at least have vigintinated and at most quinquagintimated the population.... Please enlighten me if I'm wrong :*
