Vitiate's Empire, Darth Revan's and Darth Krayt's are my favourite. I love them for all the different Darth's, the Dark Council in Vitiate's Empire is my all time favourite way to rule the Sith, though I still believe there should be a Sith Emperor to rule them, I also like how Darth Revan's Sith Empire seems to be a proto-Galactic Empire with meritocracy (that is later adopted by Vitiate's Empire under Marr and further by Acina) pushing everyone to be strong and climb the Ranks of Revan's Empire.

I'd say it's almost even. I didn't like the tonal shift from Empire to Return. I REALLY didn't like retconning Han Solo's character and having Greedo shoot first. I also struggle to enjoy The Prequels because of Jar Jar Binks and the lack of chemistry between a lot of the actors. I enjoyed The Clone Wars and Rebels a lot. THEN Disney took over because George Lucas was tired from the toxic fandom (he would tell us otherwise but I think Ahmed Best almost commiting suicide took a toll on him). I didn't enjoy the Sequel Trilogy because of how Rise of Skywalker threw Luke under the bus. He would have been justified in thinking about ending young Ben's life IF he not only killed his father but also his mother. He should NOT have been redeemed. REALLY didn't like that. Then we got Mandalorian, which I think is awesome. I feel like the 3rd season was swimming with sharks and about to jump one of them. I LOVED Rogue One and Andor OMG this is the best Star Wars since 1980 ESB. Ashoka was ok. Book of Boba Fett was ok. BUT I'm really enjoying The Acolyte I really have a hard time understanding why so many people hate it. I don't see it.

I think the Rule of Two era was in a way the best for the sith with SWTOR being the second. Though Bane was largely right about Kaan and the Brotherhood of Darkness he was ironically wrong about the “Darth” title itself. In the long run it is just a word nothing more all that really matters is if you have the power to back it up

I think the sith in SWTOR is a little better. Mainly because it gives us insight on how different individuals think on the sith code. Along with an immortal sith god and dark council ruling the empire. Although I like the rule of two there were some elements which bothered me. For example how apprentices kill their masters in treacherous ways instead of combat. (Killing them in their sleep, or dropping a cave on their head.)

The One Sith and the Brotherhood of Darkness were the worst eras of the Sith, ironically the One Sith did have makes of being only true way for Sith to be in large numbers if Darth Krayt was no so upset with immortality and will to have his mantle pass on to a worth student. We seen in with Golden Age of the Sith Empire and the SWTOR Empire if they only had taken on a students of their own train them to be a second in command then to over throw them they were ready we may have seen very different empires.

Though Kaan maybe worthy of being a true dark lord in terms of power but his lack of understand the true nature of the dark side and how he "lead” the Brotherhood Darkness show he was unworthy.

I guess my question is, if they were always selfish and power-hungry, why did the Rule of Two era Sith both training an apprentice who would kill them? I know Sidious considered himself the end of the cycle and planned on living and ruling forever, but why would other Sith plan on a session system where they had to die after teaching everything to a student. Even if you want to say the idea was that having an apprentice would keep the master strong and if the master faltered they needed to be replaced, that doesn't really work because we know some students would just kill their masters while they slept. So it doesn't make sense that a faction like this would willing plan their own down falls.

A sith apprentice killing their master in the rule of two era allows for the sith order to continue to grow in strength and power. The master teaches the apprentice everything they know, the apprentice will usually duel the master to the death. If the apprentice is too weak, they get killed and the master finds someone new. It’s all about power. A Sith master’s goal isn’t necessarily “I will train this person so that they will kill me eventually.” They need a subordinate to do their deeds/dirty work for them while they focused on something else, like a ritual or something that the master wants to learn in order to gain power. Once the apprentice learns that, they try to learn the secret to that, and then betray the master so that they can gatekeep that power

@Kenibus Right, but see, that is my point. Why would the master teach the apprentice enough that they could be a threat. Look at the Inquisitors; they are dark Jedi, they use the Dark Side, but they do not know the deeper mysteries of the Dark Side and so are no threat to the Sith. Why wouldn't a master pick a weaker student who could probably never really challenge them, and then teach the apprentice just barely enough to be useful? You still get a useful tool, but you do not need to worry about them overthrowing you. The only advantage to picking someone powerful and then teaching them everything is so that the Sith as a whole get stronger. Which seems awfully altruistic for a Sith lord.

Hmmm I’m partial to old republic and how Sith Order was. I grew an appreciation to what Bane tried to do but I feel like his idea was flawed to a point. If his apprentice didn’t try to kill him at the height of of his power, when he was strong then it felt like next generation of sith would become weaker than previous gen. I’m reading book three of Bane Trilogy heading his concern over Zannah not taking his life yet he’s worried about her waiting for him to age out and then attack when he’s weaker. I appreciate how during the rule of two they were able to conceal themselves and train at the same time without the Jedi knowing it.

We all have our own head Canon and lot of you are just going to be mad any time new lore is added that you don't like simply because your head canon thanks it should be different.
