Vitiate and his empire were in hiding in the unknown regions at that point. The real answer is that kotor 2 which tells the story of the exile and the sith triumvirate was made by obsidian whereas the first game and swtor were made by bioware. Basically I'm theorising here but from what we know, Vitiate was very absent minded. He was constantly silent. Sometimes even for decades. So it is very much possible he was just having one of his silent phases while nihilus was ravaging the galaxy. Vitiate also was an avid explorer of the galaxy and because he had mastered essence transfer , his soul (basically his immaterial self) could wander and explore the universe while his body was basically lifeless. Eventually though he gave up on the sith empire and left the empire all together to focus on his own eternal empire.

Aside from the new Sith order. I love them all to varying degrees. My top 3 would have be The True Sith Empire. (Darth Vitate's Sith order) Darth Revan's Sith Empire Then the Rule of 2. or The Orginal Sith empire.(Ajunta Pals Sith empire)
@levongevorgyan67892 жыл бұрын
I think Jacen and Lumiya could be counted as a brief revival of the Rule of Two, while the One Sith were basically a copy of the Old Sith Empire. Krayt was even trained by one of Ajunta Palls fellow Suth.

I like the True Sith Empire the most, sans Vitiate. Might just be because I found my time in the empire I met a lot of different perspectives on the Empire and the Sith, from my mostly Light side Inquisitor (weird I know), to the Operatives I interacted with seeing the Sith as necessary counters if the Jedi. If the Sith moderated to not be bleeding psychopaths 24/7 the empire would have done much better imo

I love the sith so much, but man it pisses me off they could never get their shit right to properly rule the galaxy or beyond. The true Sith were definitely my favorite followed by Revans. But even then it was like they were better off not bothering with the Republic .
@joshuatayloe86164 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Empires of the old Sith should have just stayed in the unknown regions and perhaps spread their influence into other galaxies. Could you imagine if the True Sith had spread into the Vong galaxy? It would have happened prior to the Vong's extermination of sentient life and biotech had taken over that Galaxy. The Empire could have potentially brought the Vong into the fold and been so much more powerful than even imagined or they could have stopped the extermination before it even had a chance saving countless species that would be loyal subjects to the Empire just because the stopped the Vong. I mean even Revan could have used the Star Forge to do the same by using the Rakatan Force Tech and combining it with the Modern Tech of the time period he could have sought out galaxies strong in the Force and took his armies there to build an even stronger Empire to confront the True Sith after their inevitable victory over the Republic as he saw it. Anyway there was so much more potential in Star Wars had they made the Sith go intergalactic rather than solely focused on their hatred of the Jedi and Destruction of the Republic.

Joshua Tayloe that’s why I like Revans empire so much....he wasn’t fighting a war just because he hated jedi he was going to war to prepare the galaxy for his true enemy (vitiate).....it’s not just because he hates jedi, he isn’t short sited/blinded by the dark side like most sith become
@joshuatayloe86164 жыл бұрын
@@rvhw3466 I wouldn't say that, Revan was still blinded by his fear and hatred of Vitiate and the True Sith Empire. If he were truly trying to prepare the Galaxy for Vitiate's invasion then he would have stayed after he got his memories back and trained the next recruits. He would have found Mitra and helped bring an end to the Triumvirite. There were many things Revan could have and should have done if he were truly trying to prepare the Republic for the coming of the Sith Empire including as I mentioned in previous comment using the Star Forge and Rakatan Force Tech to locate other Galaxies or even other Unknown Regions strong in the Force to build an Army to stand against Vitiate. Instead he chose to follow his short sided/blindness and attack the Republic, then follow that up with returning to the Uknown Regions to attack Vitiate. In the end Vitiate still invaded and the Empire could have easily defeated the Republic if it hadn't been for Vitiate's own short sided/blindness.
@rvhw34664 жыл бұрын
Joshua Tayloe I’m not talking about after kotor, I mean pre kotor 1, Revans empire....he attacked the republic to gain the power necessary to compete with vitiate....he wanted to turn the republic into a war machine, he would have stood a chance if he had the power of the star forge and the republic under his control, but just the star forge may not have been enough, if he was really blinded by hatred he would have used the star forge, and all his loyalists and attacked vitiate before attacking the republic and planning a strategy, that’s short sited. I think he knew that him and malak alone with the power they held wasn’t enough to challenge vitiate who dominated there minds when they first arrived on dromand kaas, He actually attacked the republic as a means to an end, it was phase 1 of his plan against vitiate....he was thinking way beyond just phase 1 however....malak thought he was weak for Sparing key republic worlds, but in reality he needed the republic to regain straight through confilct...his plan was never to destroy the republic...he actually declared his empire in direct opposition to the true Sith empire.....also revan stalled vitiate for a considerable amount of time and allowed the republic to rebuild for 300 years, that stalling from revan also may have saved the galaxy.
@joshuatayloe86164 жыл бұрын
@@rvhw3466 you're missing the point. Revan was supposed to be a tactical genius according to all accounts of the Mandalorian Wars. The moves he made upon his return as Darth Revan were not those of a tactical genius, but of man blinded by his hatred of another. There were several options he could have taken that would have had far greater impact and would have better prepared the Republic the Sith invasion. You say he needed the Republic and Star Forge to successfully stop Vitiate, so why did he not use to the Star Forge to strengthen the Republic? He could have easily used it to build ships and machines for the Republic, but he was blinded by the idea of being the leader to take Vitiate down and instead used it to attack the Republic. Regardless of his actions during those attacks the sole purpose was to unite the Republic under himself to meet Vitiate with a force he wasn't prepared for. Literally everything he did after meeting Vitiate was driven by his hatred of Vitiate, hatred is of the Dark Side and therefore he was blinded by the Dark Side. The only difference between Revan and other Sith is that Revan's hatred wasn't for the Jedi, but was for the Sith or really the leader of the Sith Vitiate.

Over the years my thoughts and opinions about the Sith and what responsibility for the creation of the Sith was truly property of the Jedi order have evolved. I’ve arrived at the conclusion that The Jedi, while making many mistakes, only had one true element of responsibility in the creation and propagation of the Sith. That element was contained in the doctrine and dogma of rejecting any sort of balanced view that included an understanding of what “Sithdom” was about along with a wholly inadequate treatment of the idea that the Force was not about the acquisition of personal power for ones own utilization and goals. This, in turn, led to erroneous understandings that created flawed doctrines and misapplied dogma, e.g., regarding the concepts related to attachment and the very black & white, mostly useless pronouncements, rules & regulations that developed in the Jedi order over the millennia related to attachment. There was one primal element that separated the Jedi from the Sith, the Ashla from the Bogan. That element was an un-abiding, ravenous hunger for power. It may have started off as a craving or a debased lusting after the possession of power. However, when fed as the only consideration, that hunger consumed the adherent and all around such a one, if taken to its logical conclusion. If the Jedi had consistently addressed this base nature failing from the start in teaching the first Younglings & Padawns, the need for the plethora of doctrines & dogma and the resultant patchwork of rules and regulations (insufficient bandaids used to address much more serious maladies that resulted from the Jedi’s inconsistencies and treatments) would have never developed over the thousand generations that Obi Wan spoke of the Jedi’s existence. In the end, the Sith were responsible for their own creation and the Jedi responsible for the creation of a recruitment pipeline for the Sith order based on a lack of true balance in the Force...an imbalance that created a perpetual, low-grade fear.
