@Tan Yeah, perhaps I was too harsh. He's kind of a hard character to master and maybe I just concluded that he wasn't fun because of it. I'm sure that once you master Olimar he becomes a pretty fun character to play, he's just personally not for me.

nearly 10 years ago when i was a kid, in Brawl i would play every character against every character on increasing bot difficulty. In Ultimate now i only ever play like 5 characters..

Imagine if they would have given Sonic things like his Bounce Bracelet and Flame Ring Roll from Sonic Adventure 2 instead of just making all of his moves different ball rolls in Smash? Or hell, give him his Sword from the game where he was a Knight. Give him a second unlockable variant as Super Sonic with an entirely new movelist. Missed opportunity.
