Either as the strongest power-up, collectible or legendary McGuffin, they've made a ton of appearances through the many Mario games and today, I wanna shine a light on every single one of them! There are a lot more stars you missed. Here are some of them (there might be more, but I am unsure): - The Bronze Grand Star (if you use the Cosmic Spirit during Bowser Jr.'s Fiery Flotilla in Galaxy 2) - The Cobalt Star and it's shards (Partners in Time) - The Falling Star move (Bowser's Inside Story) - The Star Rocket move (Dream Team) - The "Finishing Bros" move, along with the "Star Driver" upgrade to that move, from the giant battles in Dream Team - The entire Luma species and its members - The Star Bits collectibles from the Galaxy games, along with the Star Piece Clusters (which when broken, give out a couple of Star Bits) - The Angry Sun itself from Mario 3 - The fake Crystal Stars from TTYD (in the Glitz Pit and Poshley Heights, there are fake replicas of these two stars) - Geno, who is a star possessing a doll - The Boost Star, from New Super Mario Bros. U's Boost Mode - Technically from Yoshi's Island and not from "Mario", though it is called "Super Mario World 2" so it technically counts. Anyways, the tiny stars that refills Baby Mario's crying timer, along with its +10 and +20 variants. - The pink and the green Launch Stars from the Galaxy games - The Shine Gate itself is technically a giant Shine Sprite, though it cannot be collected - I'm surprised Mario Odyssey's moons weren't included or mentionned due to the Mushroom Kingdom's Moons being literal Stars - Cat Shine Shards, which does the same thing as the Silver Stars (aka spawn a completed star) - The Lucky Star, Star Stone, Star Pieces, Shine Blocks, and Star Rod, from the Paper Mario franchise. - Speaking of, the Sun Stone from TTYD is a sun, aka a star. Also the Sun itself is a character in Paper Mario 64. - Mario Party 8 also has a Star Rod of its own, different from Paper Mario 64. - Monstar, a miniboss from Paper Mario 64, which consists of multiple Star Kids trying to scare Mario. - Technically the star cursor from the Galaxy games (it can interact with Mario, Lumas, enemies, etc, so I guess it is a part of the world) - The Mario Party Advance Power Star Gaddget. - The Dark Sattelmites and their X variants (minions of the Dark Star during its boss fight in Bowser's Inside Story) - Star Candies, from Bowser's Inside Story. - Speaking of, Dark Bowser (a form of the Dark Star when fused with cells of Bowser), and the Dark Star Core (fused with Fawful). - The Eternal Star map from Mario Party 1, which when the map is beat, rebuilds itself into a complete star. - The Star Road platforms leading to the Star World from Super Mario World (actually a couple of games have a Star World, thinking about it, like the "World 9s" and all) - The Stargate from Partners in Time is a character - The mini stars from Mario vs DK Tipping Stars

There are more star items in Puzzle and Dragons Super Mario Bros Edition. Those are: Star Gem, Star Coin, Green Star Coin, Comet Medal, Grand Star Coin, Grand Green Star Coin and the Grand Comet Medal. idk if you would count all the coins, but it was worth mentioning.

There’s actually a Bronze Grand Star in Galaxy 2 as well, but only one. You are only able to summon Cosmic Rosalina on the very first boss stage, the rest she will never appear on, but it nonetheless will get you a Bronze Grand Star

As one of the 5 puzzle and dragons super mario bros edition fans on this planet, aswell as the only speedrunner of it, I am always happy to see it mentioned. In actually tho, there are a couple more star items from that game you may have either missed or neglected to mention, namely the star orbs and Z-Powered star orbs seen in gameplay, and the Star Gem item, which is used to "Awaken" allies and unlock/level up their Awoken skill.

apparently. now the super stars and the power stars are the same thing. we can see in the mario party jamboree's trailer the players using the power star to turn invincible and fight back fake bowser. what is not so hard to accept because of the mario movie and we can make the justification that in the 2d games, mario simply doesn't have the urge to collect the stars because bowser didn't sell the levels with his dark magic. or simply the super stars are just 1/7 of a power star like we see in the mario party series, that's the reason why it is weaker. I'm autistic and topics like this are so much important to my brain. I simply can't with inconsistencies

I coincedently found a Copy of Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Edition once an bought it. I Like Puzzle Games and Fell in Love with it. Fortunatly, I never complicated the Super Mario Edition part of the Game. Still the other half is also very enjoyable. ^^
