Every T-Rex in the Jurassic Park Film Series

Weighing in among the Biggest Known Land Predators, the Tyrannosaurus Rex happens to be the one that exerted the largest Bite Force among all terrestrial animals! The King of the
Dinosaurs has also been one of the most recognizable and favorited Prehistoric Creatures ever since it was first discovered by Barnum Brown back in 1902. Because of this, the
massive carnivorous titan became a clear target for John Hammond to recreate in his ambitious tourist attraction that would be named, Jurassic Park. Hammond's theme park was built
with this star attraction in mind and its likeness was placed on every possible area that it could be on the island. Even the logo for InGen's project would proudly feature a Tyrannosaur
with the park's title, symbolizing how grand the Jurassic Experience would trully be.
Now with Every T Rex in Jurassic Park being listed here we have to include the Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rexy because its the same Jurassic Park Rexy from the first movie. Now T-rexes can get mixed up sometimes but Rexy is different from the JP3 T-rex and the Infant Tyrannosaurus from The Lost World San Diego in JP History. Maybe someday we will see Baby Rexy in a film and it will give new meaning to the Jurassic Park Breakout in the first movie. Either way good tags like The Lost World Infant Tyrannosaurus as well as the incredible Bull T-rex need to be utilized to rank. In my opinion, The Lost World T-rex scene is really cool but the Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus scenes are cool too even if they spell its name Tyranosaurus on the Embryo chamber but whatever the Jurassic Park Breakout is still cool and Jurassic World Rexy is too! Sometimes The Lost World Baby T-rex gets typed into a fragmented sentence within a KZbin Description...interesting. That Infant Tyrannosaurus is just as cool as the Thrasher Tyrannosaurus and it has a great Jurassic Park Ending as well. :D

He was already eating a rather large meal, and he still wanted to pick a fight with the Spino who was WAY bigger. If anything, it took balls not to run from that fight. Respect. The Lost World Buck Rex is my personal favorite as well. I love his color scheme, and more brutish design. While I love Rexy, I'd enjoy seeing new Tyrannosaurs, rather than having Rexy continuously reoccur throughout the franchise. That being said, I still can't wait to see her in Fallen Kingdom.

@joshua ashley in the book canon Lewis Dodgson steps on one of the two (from memory) newborn Tyrannosaurs, while trying to steal eggs from the nest, breaking its leg. The film adaptation Ajay and Roland capture the newborn from its nest and bring it back to the camp to attract the parents (surmising that with an infant that young the parents wouldn't leave it for long) as Roland is interested in hunting the buck Tyrannosaur. Peter Ludlow, while drunk, accidentally breaks the infants leg while walking away from the camp. The rest is history when Nick decides to take the infant back to the trailer.

Given that the Rex in the third movie is the smallest ever seen on screen, aside from the infant, isn't it possible that it was simply a juvenile. If it was not fully grown it would explain why it was so easily killed by the adult Spinosaurus.

Trex’s had one of the most powerful bite forces than any other land animal, So if it fought against a grown one like Rexy, it would have about a 20% chance of winning since spinos are built as water animals

Actually, the Rex from Jurassic Park 3 will always be the one that bothers me the most. He is in the middle of a meal, so I dont understand why he would feel the need to chase down the humans. I never considered choosing a favorite Rex since I always viewed them the same, but if I had to pick a personal favorite, I think it would in-fact be Rexy. The reason being is that she was the very first T-Rex introduced to the franchise and is the only one that we've seen the most. And even though she's the same throughout, I still personally enjoy her in the first movie the most. Either way, how could you not love them all?

I read both books, watched the first movie daily on VHS when I got It, and have a collection of dinosaur books. This is background information to show how much I love dinosaurs and Jurassic Park. When I was watching Jurassic World in the theater, and it looked like Rexy was going to die, I grabbed my purse and my drink, ready to go. It would be cool to have a game with multiple pathways to completion, and it would start at the beginning of say JP1 or JW1 when everything was operating properly, and you get to be around as it all fails trying to survive and ultimately escape, with many objectives along the way. You could play a variety of already established or other characters that would have existed, such as various park workers or park guests if in the JW1 story. I would absolutely pay for a game along those lines or something similar.

My only concern with Rexy fighting the Spino is that (as far as movie cannon goes) Rexy has spent most of her life in ca cage by herself getting basically hand fed. I don't think she'd have the fighting ability to take the Spino. I mean I really would hope she could, but until Blue came along, the Indominus had the Queen of Nublar down and getting ready for the kill

Rexy is not just my favorite T-Rex, but is also in my top 10 favorite movie characters, as her scenes in JP were so mesmerizing to me as a child, that it sparked my love of dinosaurs that to this day (19 years later) stands very strong. If not for her, I wouldn't like Godzilla as much as I do, and on top of that, even then, Rexy is tied with Godzilla as my favorite dinosaur in any form of media. I will be legitimately upset if Rexy dies in JWFK, and down right infuriated if she dies in a non-dignified way. I expect her to die honestly, but I pray to whatever deity is listening, that she does so in a way befitting her character.

Another popular name for Rexy I have always really liked actually comes from a piece of Jurassic World fan fiction called “Its not the Raptor DNA”. They call her “The Old Lady”. I like the lost world male adult Rex being called Buck. Roland calls it the Buck Rex so it’s cannonish. Even though it’s more a reference to it’s sex it’s a nice name. I’ve always thought that maybe since the coloration of the JP3 Rex was so light, much like the lost world female it might actually be a female as well. Rexy is brown however so it could be either or and Rexes simply have wildly different colour variations. I do believe that the JP3 Rex was a subadult and therefore not as experienced in fighting because of its size. It’s also worth noting that some animatronics receive names through the film crew so for possible canon name sources it’s worth checking out. The Indominus Rex was called Darcy by the crew so that’s her canon name.

I'd say that the smaller Rex in JP3 was actually one of the 7 Rexes Hammond references (which are further confirmed to be canon by the DPG website). Whatever DNA strands and modifications the geneticists put into Rex3's form might have made him smaller, or perhaps he changed sex at a different point in his growth, stunting it. Maybe Rex3 was just born smaller than the others, and never obtained as much food and nutrition as he grew, meaning that he grew into a smaller adult than his siblings and cousins. He established his territory elsewhere as a result, living on his own until the Spinosaur matured and took over his territory, reducing him to a scavenger until they fought. Baisc size difference is also a simple explanation for why Rexy was bigger than all the others: she was the biggest and most powerful of the lot, so she was the one chosen for the Nublar exhibit.

this might not be true considering that the spino was genetically altered to be more agressive than the rexs' and has a stronger bight force than its real life counter part, and the location of the fight can also make a difference. also location is an important factor in deciding a winner if it happens near water on either island, spino would win hands down since spinos are semi-aquatic. On nublar rexy would probably win due to knowing the area better, and on sorna, the spino might win for the same reason.

Great vid, the rex's were always my favorite... gotta say, the whole break out scene in JP was still my favorite over all, but the rex attack on the RV in JP2, while awesome to watch, still bugged me, you know, how the rex's left with their baby only to come back 30 seconds later to half push the RV over the cliff, then the truck in the mud pulling them back up, the rope going through the RV no getting snagged as it fell... that all bugged the crap out of me... but, the Rex's showing up and wreaking the car and eating the guy kind of made up for it -'J
