Skynet wasn't called Legion. Legion is its own new thing with no data on skynet, which is why a T-800 was a threat to it because the Rev-9 didn't have any data on the T Series models . The point of Legions existence is as a new threat it showed that a resistance could inevitably put off something like Skynet or Legion being created, but humanity would always find a way to make them and continue the cycle.

If I'm not mistaken the Dire Wolf was made to kill the T-Infinity in case it went rogue or was reprogrammed. I remember the T-Infinity getting heavily damaged and then Skynet sent the Dire Wolf in to kill it because it was causing problems because the T-Infinity was unknowingly sent back in time.

So the thing about the Rev-9 is that it's in the Timeline post T-2 where Skynet & Cyberdyne were actually stopped. Legion, while very similar to Skynet, is a separate entity that was probably created do to a combination of factors most likely including the remains of the Rev-9 & T-800 (Carl) being left in the dam after the explosion.

Just in time as I started watching terminator zero so far the twist of another ai trying to "protect" humanity for thr better good of itself is pretty neat n all along with the main characters having to be resourceful with how weapons aren't readily available like here in the states but at the same time the yapping almost makes me wanna fall asleep

If you like Terminator Zero you definitely should check out Pantheon very underrated incredible Sci-Fi animated series. Series have a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Also Scavengers Reign it is very different but real masterpiece.

I actually stopped the video and watched Terminator Zero. That was a very good watch I thought. You have to like anime. But it kills all the other stuff that has come out in my mind since T2. I saw that as a Kid. So Yeah. Good stuff. 4 hours 8 episodes. Can be complete or Move forward I think. But anime tends to be special because they sometime end before they get to be over done.🤖🤖
