You need to use a belt with the waders. It prevents water from entering into the waders in case you slip and fall. If you slip and the waders fill up with water you are going to the bottom and not a thing you can do about it.

Nice pan of sparklies there! A trick that my brother-in-law showed me in the colder part of the year, Was to take some gug warmers and/or sock warmers and put them in my pockets or drop them in the bottom of my waders. And it seems to work really good! Love those long gloves that you have. Pretty nice for the cold weather. As always, safe prospecting to you Misha, and you have a blessed day. ✨⛏️🤠👍✨

When there are pebbles in your pan as you pan out, the drag coefficient of them as they leave the pan creates a type of suction and draws along fine gold with them resulting in less retained gold... Screen your pay!

Reclamation dredging, a type of dredging being allowed in some areas of California, is when you "clean up" Mercury and lead from the streams. CDF and BLM is kinda going along with it (see Public Lands for the People website.) otherwise, take the chance... There's not a hope a jury would convict you
