Ross will NEVER win a championship in the current format unless he changes, it's just to easy to knock him out of the final race. If other drivers just decide he has to go they can run up enormous expenses for Trackhouse just by regularly putting him into the wall hard. 15-20 totaled cars a season will make him just to expensive to keep.

@@Nut-ei6iw they only "hated" him because he was the villain (we all need heroes and villains). But he had plenty of fans rooting him on during his time as well. When Jeff Gordon came to the sport he was he was the villain for all the Earnhardt fans. I was a Rusty Wallace fan myself but I didnt "hate" Dale he was just a villain to MY hero. The 3 flags were always flying, not just now and those 3 flags now are certainly not for Austin Dillon.

Ross has made mistakes, but half of these incidents are not his fault. Elliott, for example, totally overreacted at Gateway. Ross was halfway beside him in the middle of 3-wide, and cut down on the 1. Chase spun himself, then took it out on Ross by punting him. Larson got blocked at Sonoma halfway down that short straightaway. Ross was being held up by the 3, he wasn’t being overly slow and mirror driving. He was protecting the inside so he could continue to try to pass Dillon. That’s just racing, and this comes from a Kyle Larson Fan. At Atlanta he had the right to fight to stay on the lead lap. Once his teammate caught Kyle he stayed out of Kurt’s preferred line. That’s just simply being a good teammate. Ross has always been an amazing teammate at Niece, JD, Kaulig, Ganassi, and Trackhouse. He was wrong with Hamlin twice this year. He has been over aggressive before. But to say all these instances are examples of Ross being in the wrong is incorrect. Also, how was Hamlin not black flagged for dangerous driving at Gateway? How did NASCAR let that fly?!

Elliott incident he tried to squeeze in and make it 3 wide while exiting the corner where there just wasn't room. Absolutely his fault. Larson incident yes he was trying to protect the inside line, but you can't do it at the last minute like that. Absolutely his fault. At Atlanta yes he does have the right to fight for the lap, but again that still makes it his fault. As far as Gateway, Hamlin wasn't black flagged because he didn't do anything illegal. Had he wrecked Chastain then I might get that, but all he did was make it hard to pass him and there is nothing illegal about that.
