I remember the farewell between Louise and Edith, and cried as a 10-year-old boy. Great characters great acting. All of these clips! love this thank you so much.

Love the Jefferson’s. Sherman and Carroll played off each other so well. “Pay the twenty dollars” episode was so brilliantly written too. “Take that bill up to Harlem and pass it there. It’ll make the rounds and wind up in the hands of some white guy who sells purple Cadillacs.”

I noticed in the wedding reception video that the painting of the waves crashing on the rocks is the same one the Jefferson's have hanging over their desk in their apartment.

I was a kid when this show aired and i remember how we all laughed together. No one got offended. White, black, latin, asian, jews, gay, republican, non union, foreigners, immigrants, etc.. Archie hit all groups. Archie wasn't a racist. He was ignorant. He didnt have an ounce of hate in his body.

Sherman Hemsley (George) was obligated to other projects so they brought in “Henry” to act as his brother, but the first episode Louise pretended he was her husband, and then she apologized because she had lied because she was embarrassed that her husband would not come over. Then, Edith confessed that she didn’t have an injury to her ankle, and that lied because of Archie that they did not go to the dinner that they were invited to over at the Jeffersons. Of course, Edith and Louise were the ones who made the peace. Love every show! Thank you for posting.😘😘😘

All the rank humor and arguing didn't matter when there was a crisis of sorts in the neighborhood. All supported each other as best friends that were more like family. Woke, weak idiots of today could take a page from one these characters. One of my fav episodes was Archie being conned into buying aluminum siding to save heat,.. for a brick house! 🫤😊😅 "somebody better do something fast, they're sealing us in like a can of mixed nuts" 🤣😭
