Great advice on securing your stuff. Coupla things: Several years back there was a spate of trailer thefts from a certain boat launch. Thing is, the couplers were all locked but the owners had neglected to lock the hitch into the receiver. Go figure. The second thing, again several years ago, when gas was hitting $5+/gal. Unsecured gas caps were a problem, again, boat launch related. If you didn't have a locking cap there was a fairly remote launch where your tank would be sucked dry while you were out fishing. Not all people are untrustworthy but it is necessary to protect yourself and your stuff from those that are. Thanks for the PSA Matt! BTW, if you learn to ice fish the end of open water is not nearly as traumatic 😉 I'll be walkin' on water by next weekend.

My cousin had a steering wheel lock on his new car when he went to a theater to watch a movie. When the movie was over he found his broken steering wheel lock laying in the parking lot where his nice new car once sat. His sister had two new Z28s stolen out of her driveway. About 2 years apart.

Hey Matt, mind me asking what kind of boat that is? Gonna be looking for an upgrade this coming spring and that looks like something I would be looking for. Can't really justify a full blown bass boat.

@MattStefanFishing4 күн бұрын
I lock both sides of i can, but my dual graphs on the dash are to close to put them in the middle so just one on each side

Every boat should even put alarms on their boat too. I was with a friend fishing bass masters years back and that year his tournament was in Florida record year of stealing off of bass boat from the tournament boats💯💯💯💯💯💯👍🏾
