You actually can get back in your room in "Rise of the Dragon" if you forget your ID card. There is a red valve in the upper left side of the screen in the hallway outside your room. If you click on it, water is sprayed and it shorts out the door. I found that out by accident years ago! But it works and keeps you from having a dead end!

Try thimbleweed park, it's a newer release that plays homage to the older text adventures. It's more point and click but not unlike full throttle or grim fandango but it's got a level of charm and charisma unlike any other games.

Fantastic video, though, I feel you were unfair to Hook. The controls may take some getting used to, but I always found them to be precise and the weightlessness of Peter Pan to be intentional. Honestly, it feels refreshing when most platform action games make your character so heavy. Lastly, this game was developed by Ukiyotei! They made the underrated Skyblazer for SNES and went on to develop classic games for SNK! At least you mentioned the great graphics and phenomenal music selection for the CD version. The Genesis and SNES versions of this game are also fantastic.

You made the right call at the end. I love the Sega CD. I always wanted one since it came out. I didn't finally get one until 6-7 years ago. I only have a small collection, but it's quality stuff: Dune, Vay, Lunar 1 and 2, and Shining Force CD. I was able to get them when prices were still reasonable. With the exception of Dune, what I paid for all of them combined wouldn't equal what one of them costs now. Wish I had grabbed some others when I had the chance to get them for much less than they go for now like The Terminator. Some of these I've seen around but didn't know anything about them but will have to see what they cost these days. If it isn't too crazy I might might add some more games to my collection. Battlecorps and RDF: Global Conflict look like games I'd have fun with, and Bari Arm looks pretty cool.

I used to have nightmares about the Riddler's VR section in Batman&Robin for years after failing to complete it in 1995, didn't help that my original sega cd would randomly flip out and eject the disc during gameplay funny thing is I bought a Genesis 2 with a sega cd toploader with this game in 2006 and beat it in one night, glad to put that one to bed finally

I remember mentioning to my Grandmother that I was on the hunt for Sega CD games, she later called me saying she found a Jaguar racing game in a charity shop. I was very confused at first as I thought she meant an Atari Jaguar game, but that's when I realised it was based on the car brand.

Your coverage of Night Trap in this video was excellent! You said what needed to be said. How many times have gamers suffered because of their underhanded ways? I wonder...would Dave go insta agro on you Joe had he been with you? ;) Addendum- Wing Commander on the Sega CD was a great game but it really should have been released on the Genesis. The only thing standing in its way was it's lack of hardware scaling. Thankfully, scaling can be achieved on the Genesis by utilizing software solutions. Many developers did this too great effect.

This video broke every one of my nostalgia bones. I used to love the Sega CD and I was surprised how much of the catalog I owned at one point, at least 70% of it. Some of the soundtracks are still in my regular rotation (notably Spiderman, Terminator, and Silpheed). And you're not the only craving a remake of the SCD specific version of Road Avenger.

My favorite Sega CD game...Soulstar was great. Road Rash was pretty sweet. Silpheed blew our minds back when it hit. I don't know Joe, I loved my Sega CD quite a bit when I got it Christmas of 1992 and I enjoyed it immensely throughout its life. That first year of owning one made me feel like I was experiencing something truly special as no one else I knew had one. Very sweet add-on. What a fantastic channel! Addendum- I thought you said this was in alphabetical order? You showed a title I have never seen before in AX-101...but shouldn't Afterburner 3 come before it? I'm so confused by your order with some of these Joe. It's still a great video and an enormous undertaking. Thank you for doing this man. Bonus- The 1-800-USA-SEGA number still works too this day. As funny as Joe's joke is I think it would have been even funnier if he actually called them and asked for a Sega Genesis/Sega CD repair.
