What type of American presidents video would you like to see me make next eh? Edit: It has been brought to my attention that Bill Clinton's favorite two presidents are actually FDR and Lincoln. The strange thing about Robert Todd Lincoln was that he was either present or near all three of the assassinations of presidents during his life. He was present when his father died, he was on the subway platform when Garfield was shot, and he was in a nearby tent when McKinley was shot. He acknowledged this pattern and generally declined invitations to meet presidents afterwards, seeing it as bad luck. He also was mildly disappointed he was mostly only hired to jobs due to his father’s legacy and lived quite a long time, being the last survivor of the Garfield and Arthur administrations, as well as the last witness of Lee’s surrender when he died in 1926. He lived a fairly eventful life even if he isn’t remembered much today.

I love this topic and this series overall. I'd love to see a video similar to this one detailing what each President has thought/said of other Presidents, It'd be neat since some Presidents like Fillmore and Hoover have lived long enough to see many future Presidencies in their time.

I definitely think you can tell a lot about a person on who they say their favorite president is. I know people will say the standard picks like Washington, or Lincoln, but if they pick someone more recent like within the last 50 I think it shows a lack of interest in American history/politics/etc. hearing someone say a lesser known President is definitely interesting and knowing which president who would try to emulate the president they favored is definitely interesting. I think if there was a future president who tried to emulate Teddy Roosevelt’s presidency would be really fascinating.
