Personally, I think that all 30 films in the Universal Classic Monsters Complete Collection are absolutely awesome. There is not a bad movie in the collection. They are all awesome, all great, all classic.

Wolfman 2010 is a great movie and criminally underrated! Mary Shelley's Frankenstein 1994 as well! Together with Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992 those three are the best Universal Monster Movies and could form a trilogy on their own. De Niro's Monster and Oldman's Dracula are monumental roles! All of James Whales' movies are masterpieces on their own and can't be compared to none, they are engraved in movie history. The Mummy from 1999 was also superb! Phantom with Gerard Butler is visually maybe the most beautiful of all Universal Monster movies. Dracula Untold was very promising and stylish and original, and deserved a sequel, but as it it is, without a sequel it is mediocre. The Mummy from 2017 is the greatest disgrace.

I love the 2010 Wolfman, it captured the look and feel of the Lon Chaney Jr. version and I wish Universal continued with that premise of updating the originals but keep it’s essence. This could have been the building block for a new cinematic universe but for some reason it failed at the box office unfortunately.

I have the opposite opinion of the 2010 Wolfman- I thought Benicio Del Toro was the only truly good performance and that Anthony Hopkins acted like he was about to fall asleep at any moment lol.

Points off for saying it's disappointing for the lead character to be killed by a dog. Bad Moon (based off the novel Thor) is about a dog who saves the family from a werewolf, and the dog hero is both believable and a total badass. You put a German Shepherd protecting it's family against anyone or anything, and I'm putting y money on the German Shepherd!

To me, the Universal Monsters ideal, is what defines, the classic monster lineup!!!! No matter what other company, put what out, these monster's are the iconic visuals, of them. Also, try to pronounce your words, a little more clearer, as some is unintelligible. It's alkward to see Peter Lorre, as a Japanese man?? Haven't you ever watched any, of the 'Mr. Moto', detective series with him??? Peter J. Nāsh?? Who the hell is that🤨⁉️ Maybe J. Carroll Naish, perhaps🤔, hmmm??

I really like the story for The Son of Dracula. I did find The Invisible Woman funny....laughed out Loud many times while watching it. The Mummy with Brandon Frazier is fun but to have it in the same category as Bride of Frankenstein.....HMMM.

Creature Walks Among Us is a great movie, it is better than the Revenge of the Creature which was a King Kong knock off. CWAU is a sad movie especially when he looks out to the water, the mask is amazing and how it was framed for the murder was tragic. This movie is now recognized as progressive and thought provoking.

@@LinzKZbin Still looks comical to me regardless of how advanced it was. Even then I believe Pierce's techniques were getting old. But the makeup for the Monster 10 years previous is sublime.
