i kind of want cochrain trek. somewhere between first contact and enterprise, cover zepheram cocrain's exodus from earth. give him a warp 3 delta upgraded with borg technology, a ragtag crew on a trek fueled by tequila and rock'n'roll straight into the unknown.

For me I wouldn't mind seeing a series about the burn that happened, what did they have to go through

A Star Trek movie every year gives me chills. It certainly didn’t work well when Disney decided to do the same with Star Wars.

The problem with the Kelvinverse movies, is that they are 'Star Wars Trek'. Not 'Star Trek'. The problem with modern series is that they are not 'Star Trek' at all, 'Strange New Worlds' being the only exception. Now, with more things underway, Kurtzman doesn't understand the franchise at all: the success of classic 'Star Trek' was that things were left open (unsolved, open ending), so the audience was invited to use their own minds to fill in those gaps. That';s great writing. Have you seen 'Star Wars Solo'? Exactly. That movie bombed because every single detail was explained and got a backstory, and nobody wanted that. Now, Kurtzman follows that same path. 'Section 31' will bomb, as it does the same as 'Solo' did for Star Wars. Nobody asked for it. 'Star Wars 4' in the Kelvinverse? Too late, nobody is interested anymore. An 'Enterprise'prequel movie? No! Fans are sick of prequels for a long time. Another big mistake. Every single time it seems that the powers that be are hijacking Gene Roddenberry's work and philosophy. All it looks like s to mass produce 'Dollar Store' bargain entertainment. And another 'Discovery' movie is a setup for sure loss. 'Star Fleet Academy' series is a nice concept, but in the 'Disco'verse 32 century? I'm not even interested. And as for a 'Picard' movie, no thank you. The TNG era is gone, the cast (however loved) should exit the building and stop stealing the spotlight from new casts and adventures. 1. Not every plothole or open ending needs to be explained or turned into a movie or series. 2. Return to form with weekly standalone episodes, intelligent writing and philosophy and human discoveries. Star Trek is to be pondered and wondered about, not about action or cheap comedy. 3. You can set new series in the TOS, TNG or post-Picard era's, but with other ships and crews, exploring those time era's more. I for one would love to see a captain Shaw series aboard the Titan-A, 4. Do not change known alien species anymore; it didn't work before and it will not work ever. 5. Create one new series inside the 25th century, and go from there with spin-offs and movies. Nowadays, 'Star Trek' is mass produced content all over the place. The TNG era did it right. 6. There is more than enough life left in the franchise, but treat the legacy and the fans with dignity and respect and give them the stories that Gene Roddenberry invisioned.

The Kelvin timeline really needs to address the lack of humpback whales.

Star Trek 4 my vote but I have to say the new series discovery is not for me. I didn’t care for the script or the story. I watched 4 episodes and it didn’t spark my intense love of this franchise. Pine just has to come back!

I would be all in for a Star Trek Discovery Movie.... Even with all that "WOKE CR@P" they swim in.... It has my vote !!!!! Now only if they can figure a way to not include the Tilly character and the Earth President.....
