Yea Wario is not even remotely slow or sluggish in that game, with his run button as well as charging or his powers like flying. Honestly feels faster than Mario does in a lot of games.

I remember my next door neighbor at the time spending a fortune on this system and giving me this with almost every game for free less than 3 weeks after purchase. Red alarm was actually one of my favorites as it reminded me a lot of Star Fox, but damn it was hard to play lol. Haven't seen one of these in at least 25 years now. Amazing this is even covered on KZbin. Thanks for the review.

Nintendo's 10 biggest mistakes: #1: calling their big product announcement shows "Space World" I'm sure that the 'under 10' crowd really likes the name, but they aren't the ones attending 'space world' Maybe 'space world' sounds much cooler in Japanese. But with Japan's love of using English words in their mass media, it's unfortunately likely that the Japanese call their 'space world' simply 'space world' I'm not 5 years old. If I ever went to one of Nintendo's 'space world' events, I'd be embarrassed to admit it. It's not the event that sucks, just its name. Example: Co-worker: "Hey (insert name here) what were you up to last weekend?" Me: "I went to Space World" Co-worker: "you took your 3 year old to space camp? That's nice" Me: "No, I was at Nintendos Space World" Co-worker: "We're all starting to worry about your sanity. We're afraid you'll hurt someone. We're afraid you're gonna hurt yourself. FYI, almost all the VB games run on a SNES Classic if you use a Wii Classic Pro controller and remap the 2nd analog. Sadly, as of right now Teleroboxing crashes consistently. Only game I had real issues with.

This is a nicely put-together video, guys. I really appreciate the effort you put into making VB games look coherent on a flat display of the wrong aspect ratio. I've only seen one Virtua Boy, and it was quite a thing... I had eye-strain after only a few moments using it.

Some missed opportunities here, like: - Pointing out that almost every time an actually decent game would be released for the Virtual Boy it was cancelled, reminding us that this system's destiny was a really cursed one. - Making some intentionally bad puns like "it was virtually unplayable" or something similar - Saying that out of the hilariously small library of games there was more than one of the bowling and Tetris genre - Outlining the lack of real virtual reality focus on the games - Realising (or effectively saying) that Japan, where the VB had only 5 months in the market, actually had a handful more games than the west where it lasted a little longer Nice video otherwise

I got mine 2 years ago and I absolutely adore it. It's flawed in a lot of ways for sure, and part of the mystique for me is that it was even released in the first place. Still, the game library is surprisingly solid, and man, those stereo speakers are a standout factor for me: they truly immerse you to the experience.

I couldn’t disagree more about the Wario land series. I think the first one was by far the best and the others just got worse as time went on. Four may be better than two, but you get what I’m saying. So Wario land for the virtual boy being closer to the original, is its greatest strength in my opinion. Still not anywhere close to as good as the original, but definitely the best virtual boy game I’ve played.
