A couple of details I love about your vídeos and would not take for granted: 1. No intro, no bullshit. 2. Extremely assertive and concise 3. Extremely brief and well placed pauses 4. Simple, straightforward language 5. Structured, standardized, and consistent information (e.g., vitamin name, effects, deficiency, and food sources are given for all items in this video). Simple, yet genius. Thanks!

A few things to add. Alcoholics usually have B1 (thiamine) deficiency. If they continue, they can develop Wernicke-Korsakoff sydrome, which leads to impaired memory and brain function. B6 (niacin) is sometimes used as adjunct therapy for high cholesterol. B9 (folate) & B12 (cyanocobalamin) are both used in macrocytic anemia. Vitamin C can be given with ferrous sulfate (iron supplement) to increase the absorption of iron with microcytic anemia. Finally, warfarin is an anticoagulant used to block the formation of clotting factors II, VII, IX, and X. These are the clotting factors that are dependent on vitamin K.

Its important to note with vitamin D. That if you take D3, D4 supplants etc, That you also take vitamin K2 with it. Without K2 vitamin D doesnt metabolize efficiently and in excess without K2 can leech calcium from your bones. So if you take it regularly or for deficiency, look for vitamin D+K2 supplements

@lonestarr14906 ай бұрын
Try eating more of them and you will find that you dislike them less. (It really works this way, because the bacteria in your guts are communicating with your brain about what to have an appetite for. And whenever you eat more of a certain kind of food, you help out those bacteria who like that kind of food, making their opinion on what to eat more apparent to your brain. That's how "acquiring a taste" works.)

Another thing to add about Vitamin B9 deficiency, from the sibling of a few people who have a rare gene disorder that inhibits the proper uptake of B9: It can also cause symptoms resembling psychosis, typically presenting as schizo-effective disorder, or, more plainly, "borderline everything." Three of my sisters have a mutation on the MTHFR gene (which I "lovingly" call the mother f*er gene, especially since it was passed down by our birth mother), and all three were treated for mental disorders for many years before they were properly diagnosed and given the correct medical attention. That being said, this does not mean that this is what anyone reading this has. If you think that may be the case, get a genetic test done for it. I had one done when I had a breakdown at work. Nope, just general anxiety disorder with paranoia, and I had clear reason to get that test done knowing that I had three direct relatives that were previously diagnosed.
