Nice video! I was thinking about doing something like this too! The time of day changing in Sunset Wilds is lame but I still think the layout is okay, I like simple tracks sometimes. I wasn't expecting number 1 for you to be LA! Interesting pick! I think you've inspired me to make a video sharing my thoughts as well! Let me know if you wanna race online together dude!

I mostly agree with your list! It's very disappointing that Sunset Wilds is so flat (compared to the MK8 GBA courses, as well as some of the more recent Tour versions), and especially that the sunset is no longer. I wonder if it has to do with working with MK8D's lighting system? Koopa Cape has some quirks, like that boost pad before the dive is just odd. Daisy Cruiser is neat, I love how the tables feel even zanier because the guests are sitting in them now lol. Also, Moonview Highway is fine, but I do miss how zany it feels both in Wii and Tour, those games capture that "survival" mode feeling especially! The city courses have definitely been improving, and Squeaky Clean Sprint does have its neat details! Personally, I'd probably just switch Vancouver and L.A. because I'm highly biased towards my home city lol Well, a neat touch is how the street texturing in Vancouver makes it look wet, it totally feels like a nod to our ever-raining "Raincouver" city lol That lap 2 exit from the arena is odd for sure, since I don't recall it being used in Tour, but I suppose they just wanted lap 2 and 3 to go on different routes.

I didn't even notice that boost pad in Koopa Cape until now. That _is_ odd. Much love to Vancouver! 🍁 I'd love to visit someday!

It honestly feels more like a de-make than a remake. However, it's still Koopa Cape, so it's not a complete loss
