I had a flashback about a scene in this film and had to show my son as it was the greatest movie ever when I was a kid. (Smokey and the bandit 2 being the other one). My boy is not impressed with either...Ah well looks like I'm watching a Spiderman movie.....again😂

Ruth Gordon, who played Eastwood's mother, was a great actress. she was so funny in this movie, especially when the bikers invade her yard, big mistake on their part! She was also in a very dark comedy that has a profound message of hope "Harold and Maude" where she plays Maude but, if you get it get an unedited copy, it's a great, great movie.
