I did the lid and the velossatech but I went with Elite Carbon as my cold air intake. It's an absolute beast now, it sounds insane

@@split317 Not sure, I haven't heard the outside perspective. From the inside, it sounds like a hellcat and the stock exhaust is slightly louder. The exhaust crackles and pops like crazy now

Me and a friend both have zl1 camaros. Mine is an a10 his is a manual. His blower with the manual is almost double the noise as mine. My blower is pretty quiet and his you can hear his much more.

I think it’s worth it because it’s supposed to run cooler add a bit more power and it looks great all while adding more sound

I just installed the Weapon X lid on my 2015 Z06 and I cannot say I notice ANY increased whine at any rpm. Any ideas? I also have a K&N cold air intake and ported throttle body which I thought would help bring out the whine too but no. I hope I didn't just spend $900 for a lid that dosent do anything. In your video, I can clearly hear it inside the cabin under load as well as outside outside car. On my Z06, there is NOTHING! Really disappointing.

Totally understandable it’s not just for whine tho you get better cooling and also when you pop your hood it looks great also lid makes easy for you to add meth but I totally understand that’s why I wanted to post this video cause there isn’t many good ones hope this helps

No instructions doesn’t need it you just unbolt stock lid and screw new lid on I would get new bolts and gaskets tho

You do no require a tune for these parts but make sure you get the standard Rotofab and not the big gulp that one does require a tune

It doesn't have any baffling like the stock lid. Technically you could take the stock lid, remove the baffles and polish it to get the same effect.

Intake added most of it if then the lid added about 45% increase to that

I know the 1LE is going all out but honestly what are your thoughts on the ride quality on this compared to just the ZL1 due to the magnetic suspension? For daily driving? Worried the multimatic suspension might be too hard core. Know what I mean?

Test drive both man everyone seems to have a different opinion about the 1le suspension. I love mine but the regular zl1 is definitely more comfortable
