The Kai thing hit me like...welll....like a juggernaut. As a player from Europe this was -the- guy I looked up to an example of excellence and the more I learned about him the more he seemed like a truly genuine, good guy with an incredible talent and brainpower. I hope and pray he gets better. Because I never thought anyone was better than Kai.

Powrdragons prerelease joke 😂. Kai’s run in the competitive scene was before my time in magic, so I’m not too familiar with him unfortunately. But I’ve heard his name consistently enough to know that he’s a big deal. Wishing all the best to him, and a speedy recovery

Duskmourns got me all twisted up. Im really excited by enchantment themed sets like Theros and to an extent old and new Kamigawa. On the other hand, as someone who’s already a weirdo for not caring too deeply for Innistrad and horror aesthetics in general, the strangers things/goosebumps/ghostbuster vibes given off does nothing for me, I like it even less than Innistrad’s gothic older school horror homages. It’s probably gonna hit well for the rest of the mtg community tho since the Ben diagram of stranger things fans, 80’s kids and DnD/magic is a circle.
