i understand its curbside delivery that i understand but i feel like customers need to understand this and if they come in a nice respectful manner i can see you going above and beyond if its safe for you to do it or unless they got some extra green that might convince you... thats just my opinion hope everything goes well with you

@@edwardgaspar5428 lumberyard slips say “not responsible for damages” He didn’t even look at where the client wanted the material. Driver does the bare minimum. Thats why I stick with lumber yards instead of “big chain”vendors that hire subs to do there work

Gratuity in certain circumstances is not allowed. In my business we are not alllowed to accept cash tips. We could be terminated for that. The preffered method is gidft cards. They are untraceable. However that takes fore sight. I tip my fellow coworkers in the garage & storeroom because they don’t have the availability of overtime that I have. Once a year at Christmas time. It used to be bottles (of booze). Not everyone drinks booze. Besides alcohol on company property could lead to disapline? I get better service st the storeroom counter & whenever my truck goes in for a PM they give me advance notice & will piece meal it at night so I have my truck the next day. Others have to drive another truck for a week or more.

I believe if your in the road more than 15 minutes blocking a travel lane? You need a flagger with advanced warning signs in both directions? However with solo delivery guys they can’t. Hence they follow the 15 minute rule plus or minus 5. Who’s counting? Besides motorists are supposed to be able to judge if it’s safe to pass. If they can’t? Perhaps they need an eye exam?
