Being dyslexic I find my audible subscription very useful, audio books are even lighter than a kindle ! No reason not to improve yourself, much love Jorge

Thanks for sharing! Finding the best ways that apply to us individually is a smart way to adapt and to still be able to have great experiences like a book! I hope it was a useful or interesting video, thanks for watching and for taking the time to share a comment as well! I appreciate it 🙌🏼✨

Good video Jorge, I couldn't agree more about the kindle merging technology and reading. Earbuds definitely provide great convenience, but over ear headphones are much more comfortable over a long time. Also photography with the lack of an album for storage was a great observation.

Interesting to hear your thoughts, I like the convenience of earbuds, I find that headphones can feel bulky and inconvenient. But If I'm home or editing videos then it's fine, I could use headphones as well! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to share a comment! Cheers ✨🙌🏼

that's funny, I have the same approach to things, but I go the other way around. my key word is : simple. I don't want to have to tinker with stuff to get them going, I don't want them to suddenly stop working. I tried wireless headphones, but I always end up forgetting to charge the battery. Most reliable output of sound is a 3.5mm jack, so then I use a wired pair of heaphones with my phone and my computer. I'm used to live with the cord, I have my whole life (and tbf I didn't find the wireless experience to be that different in the end, there's a few nice things for sure but also compromises) When it comes to reading, there I'm a bit biased. I grew up in a family where books were a very part of our lives (so much so my brother became a librarian). So when I need to read something... that's on paper. Also, I the type of perso that can be distracted or bored easily if I get the opportunity. I know how it goes when I'm on my computer and needs work doing (hint : not well) and I know for a fact that with several books at once in my hands I'd be too tempted to begin several books at the same time For the camera part though, I couldn't agree more with you. My dad's photo album are the thing that motivated me keeping my camera around me when I'm doing things or when family members come by.

Interesting to hear your perspective, I think most people don't need tech in their lives until some drastic changes occur. For the most part, I like the feel and smell of real books, but the moment I moved abroad, it was apparently obvious that I was not going to be able to carry dozens of books with me, so a kindle was the obvious choice. The same with wireless headphones, so many hours wasted in commune to work or things like that. The benefits are only apparent when you are doing something else, wires get tangled and in the way all the time, I find the wireless experience to be freeing, so the wireless earbuds were the obvious choice. I think for the most part, technology is great when its used to solve a problem, not for the sake of technology itself. That is probably the peak of technology and it's usefulness. Thanks for watching Matthieu, and for sharing a comment as well! Cheers 😁

Agreed! travelling and moving overseas really showed me the usefulness and the convenience of e-readers! And it's something I think everyone should have 😂 Thanks for watching and for taking the time to share your thoughts as well! I really appreciate 🙏🏼✨

Very interesting video, Jorge. Like others, I've tried e-readers and I've never enjoyed the experience. I always bring a book with me wherever I go, which also provides the benefit of creating your own physical library (or documenting your reading journey, like an album for books 😁). I also strongly dislike using headphones outdoors. It shuts people out from the world around them, is often so loud and shows complete disregard other people. Anyone that's ever been on public transport in Copenhagen will know the dreadful sensory experience of the cacophony of noises blasting out of your fellow commuters' headphones, like some kind of Kafkaesque Surround Sound. It's terribly discombobulating 😂. Of course, if you listen to a podcast then this isn't an issue, but in my experience, most people just blast their music with total indifference.

Very interesting to hear your thoughts! How's Copenhagen life in general? I think some circumstances might affect some of our preferences. I like the feel and smell of real books, but the moment I moved to Japan, it was apparently obvious that I was not going to be able to carry dozens of books with me, so finding a solution with tech (a kindle) was the option available. I agree and understand what you mean about using headphones, and noise pollution. It really can annoy more than we are capable of tolerating, but then I discovered Podcasts... when I think back on all the hours wasted in commute, going to a soulless job that I hated, hours I could be spending learning a new skill, hearing peoples perspective on things, etc. Wireless earbuds became a must for me. Like I mentioned in a previous comment on this video, I think, for the most part, technology is great when it's used to solve a problem, not for the sake of technology itself. I know the video is focused on tech, but hopefully, people will get the point, "read, listen to other peoples opinions, use your time to educate yourself & document your journey" To be fair, common sense is not that common these days, I can't stand people with speakers playing loud music on public transportation. Thanks for watching Dastan! I really appreciate you being part of this small community and taking the time to watch and share experiences! I'd like to do a street photography tour one day and visit Copenhagen too! 😁🙌🏼

@@Jorge-Perez I totally agree. And podcasts are wonderful, especially during commutes where we otherwise wouldn't be able to stimulate or nurture ourselves. Copenhagen is a beautiful city! It's small, and we Danes can be a bit reserved so it can feel a bit village-y. But, it has an interesting art scene and despite the Scandinavian mantra of uniformity and conformity, there are plenty of contrasts (old/new, posh/edgy, minimalist/kaleidoscopic etc...), that makes it an interesting place to photograph.
