I don't think the Carlton dance one counts. He took several inspiritional sources and blended them together to make his own thing. Lots of people do that and when they come up with a mixture of something that works, they call it their own new invention and we don't question that. This is no different. It's not like he directly used Eddie Murphy's dance moves on the show and called them his own. He used it as an inspiration for his own dance and blended the style with something else, thereby creating something new.

Personally i never took Bear's show as proof of his stamina over a time period in the environment to prove "he could do it". He shows how to survive specific situations. Even if he stays in a five star hotel between lessons, it doesn't change the effectiveness of the lesson.

Yeah, a bit like his show, fkin boring. I'd take crazy Grylls any day, at least I'd be in a shit situation and having fun. You can physically survive anywhere, but you'll never survive psychologically. Its a part of the survival they never actually tell you about, like how you eventually lose your mind. I'd rather have someone with me who has an interesting personality and can survive than a guy I know is going to talk me to death.
