I think that 房间 just means "room" (any kind of room in a house). Because 房 usually means "house", and 间 means "space" or "room". The word for "bedroom" is no. 20 in the video, which is 卧室. Here, 卧 means "to lie down", and 室 is a room with a special purpose (such as sleeping). Anyways, this is what I think. But we'll see what the teacher says.
